The hotel staff were very helpful and gracious. We received a warm welcome from Maria. The rooms were clean and in very good condition. We had a beautiful room with a view of the ocean. The breakfast was good especially the cinnamon rolls but the powdered eggs were disappointing. The warm cookies in the afternoon were delicious. The bowl of fruit available all day was a nice touch also. We would stay again as it is close to my daughter's home. We visited many sights in the San Francisco area and the hotel was easy to return to just off scenic HWY 1.

Location to major events and natural beauty. General manager not as cooperative as expected. I checked in a day late and could not get an upgrade. Hotel was not full. Other than above statement hotel was clean and situated nicely with regard to metro activity and natural beauty. Accommodations met all my expectations.

2nd stay, both times very nice. The staff was very friendly. The room was nice, bed was comfy. I had a room facing the ocean which was great! I opened the window and listened to the waves all night long.

The location and view are great for a Holiday Inn Express, you'll be surprised. The rooms and lobby were very clean and the bathroom was exceptional with wood cabinetry and granite counter tops. This was my teenage daughter's first trip to Cali to check out Stanford and Cal Poly and this was hands down her favorite hotel during our stay. Even has a back deck with bar stools overlooking the ocean. Definitely a bargain, we can't wait to go back!

The hotel was immaculate, front desk very helpful and willing to recommend things to do in the area. Free hot breakfast was great. Hotel very affordable. Right on the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Travelled to California for vacation and I loved this hotel for its proximity to San Francisco and Montery. The staff was very helpful and everyone I talked too was friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this place if you want peace and quiet on vacation with expectacular views of the ocean.

We had the time of our lives. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us feel very welcome!! Very friendly people!!! The location was perfect. We were minutes from all the attractions we had planned to go to. Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Muir Woods and the Fisherman's Wharf. Would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends!!!

The hotel?s location and service were wonderful. There are several places to shop, dine, and view the gorgeous sunsets within walking distance. (Not to mention its proximity to both San Francisco and Monterey.) Easy to find from the airport and only about 15 min. away. The staff was always happy to help, the room and common areas were clean, and the breakfast selections were very good. Can?t say enough good things about it ? would definitely stay there again!

we stayed there initially for 2 nights and then traveled up the pacific hiway....we were so satisfied that the night before our departure we were glad to venture back and watch the sunset on the beach a week later. service and location excellent and local stores very close by...and best of all!!!!!!...10 minutes to SFO international airport would stay there again.

I chose this hotel because the traveler reviews were so positive. The room was perfect. The view is fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. Nice jacuzzi and electric fireplace. We moved to a junior suite 2 days later.It was just as nice as the best suite.The jacuzzi was double the size of the first room. The general manager was very nice and helpful. Also John from Kentucky was extremely helpful when a storm knocked out power to the hotel.He made sure to have breakfast for us even without electricity.This is a wonderful place to stay.Pacifica is beautiful.One negative that I will not spend my money on again. The Gray Line Hop on Hop off tour is a waste of money. We were dropped off at Union Square and never picked up again. We had to find our own way back to Fishermans Wharf.

If you are looking for a good value in the San Fransisco Bay Area this may be the place. One thing you need to know that Pacifica is not Miami Beach and you will have to bring some warm clothing. On to the hotel, you will need a rental car if you have flown into the bay area. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. There were some stains on the carpet in the hallway, big deal, not going to let that ruin my vacation. The hotel offers an internet connection if you bring your laptop. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room. Continental breakfast in the morning, cookies and fruit out in the afternoon. Very close to the beach (some rooms have a view), the hotel is located right next to the beach parking area and trails, plus Rockaway Beach has a nice shopping area. If you want to go to the city and not pay a lot for parking consider driving to Daly City and taking the Bart train into SF - Round trip is 5.30 and parking at the Bart Station is only 2 on weekdays. If you are looking for a hotel that is close to SF but you don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city you may want to consider this hotel for your next stay.

Very plush rooms. No room service. The staff is incredibly attentive, the rooms will make you melt and the full free breakfast is to die for! What a beautiful hotel right on the beach.

Very clean with a great view. Arrangement of the furniture has room for improvement. Rooms were clean and the view was spectacular. Very nice beach and restaurants near by. Staff was friendly.
