Okay, I needed to contact customer service about this anyways: after 11pm the neighbors started smoking cigarettes -and rather than move them- the hotel made US move to another room... which meant getting dressed and packed and moving in the middle of the night. The front desk said they would credit us for the stay, but then the next day they informed us that because it was paid through Orbitz that they couldnt refund it to us. So they told me to contact Orbitz, and if you approved then you could credit the stay back to my card. Victoria was the lady working the front desk that morning. Perhaps you can credit the charges back to my card?

The hot breakfast was convenient and delicious, better than other expensive hotels. Getting to the hotel was a little difficult because of the San Antonio highway system. Plenty of bang for my buck. The pool was the usual size, good for a quick tip and lounging.

Holiday Inn Express was great. The room was more spacious than I expected and the bed was super comfortable. The location was right near the higway and several restaurants and shops. I was very pleased with my stay.

Free express breakfast. Easy access to I-10. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Quiet area. Silverfish on ceiling. Ants on towels. Ticking sound of refrigerator. Not too friendly welcome from hotel clerk. This was a decent hotel. The room was fine. The only problem was that the fridge in the room kept making this ticking sound. We also had to deal with a couple of silverfish and a few ants, but we didn't let it bother us. For the most part, the room was very clean and housekeeping did a great job of cleaning it every day. The free breakfast was also decent. Options included, cinnamon rolls, bagels, toast, French toast, eggs, sausage, biscuit, variety of cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee.

great place to stay. We went to San Antonio for our sons graduation from the Air Force basic training. Lackland AFB is easy to get to from this location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept on. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and well stocked. The pool was a welcome relief from the heat of Texas. We would stay again.

The Holiday Inn Express in San Antonio looked very nice inside and out. The landscaping and interior design were wonderful. The only problem was the bedding. My husband was very irritated somehow by the bedding. He kept waking up in the middle of the night to take a shower. I think the bedding was giving him some kind of reaction. The thing is we enjoyed the Holiday Inn Express in the Woodlands and we were just fine. We loved it there! Also, the breakfast needs to al least be till 10:30 to 11 am. We had just missed the breakfast. I had to go spend more money on breadfast. The one in the woodlands let the breakfast buffet stay open till 11. I hope this somehow helps. Overall the service was great but those were the few problems we had. If we had to stay another night we probably wouldn't have because of that.

The breakfast was very good, lots of selection. Very close to local attractions and resturaunt selections. Cleaning staff did not change sheets daily and parts of room were left very dirty. Overall, nice hotel for the price. Beds are comfortable and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is in a great area for families loking to attend Fiesta Texas or Sea World and is within close proximity to several family friendly restaurants.

Overall, very pleased, but a few issues. Upon arrival, told they did not have the room I reserved with 2 queen beds. Offered one king bed, which was not acceptable as there were 3 of us. Finally, upgraded to suite, but it wasn't ready. Had to wait 2 hours after check in time to get room. One phone line in room did not work, so no internet available. First night, no top sheet on bed. Second night, no towels. Would probably stay there again, but hope they get better help. Hotel is very nice and very clean.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very attractive but a little difficult to find. We switched rooms and the second room was not as clean. The walls were scuffed and soiled. This hotel is very pleasant but is a little difficult to find. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Our first room was very clean and nicely furnished and decorated although it would benefit from a second mirror in the bedroom area. The second room we were in was not quite as well kept. The walls were scuffed and soiled. The lighting was not very good in the bedroom area. The breakfast was pretty good. There was a large selection of items but they ran out of some of them. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and felt it was a good value.

The staff was great!, the rooms were very clean and hotel looked brand new! They have washer and dryer in fitness room which was great with 2 small kids. I was scared about booking online and not knowing the area but we were very pleased, I picked this one because all the reviews were good here and I wasn't disappointed. Close to All major restaurants, shopping, six flags, and Sea World. We came to San Antonio to see George Strait Team Roping Rodeo, but we really enjoyed the Alamo and Riverwalk we took 1hr carraige ride around Riverwalk and Historic Area it was well worth the money!! But check parking rates at Alamo some much cheaper than others. My kids can't wait to go back this year!!!! Will stay here again!

The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and very helpful. The security door to the back entrance wasn't locked. I will stay at this motel again. It was a really nice palce, the food looked great, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

"Hotel is very new. Rooms were nice size, had a king bed with desk and sleeper sofa. Good size bathroom area. Had pool, did not use. 1 block off i-10, away from freeway noise. Cont breakfast could use waffle maker."

I loved the bed. It was large and comfortable. I liked that it was on a quiet street and was convenient to everything. I wasn't crazy about the breakfast that was served in the lobby.
