What are your breakfast options?

We serve a complimentary, full hot buffet breakfast every morning for our guests. It includes our signature cinnamon buns, eggs (either scrambled or cheese omelettes), bacon or sausages, warm home-style biscuits, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, hot & cold cereal, breakfast breads and pastries, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices. During the week, breakfast is served from 6:30am - 9:30am, and on weekend and holidays it is served from 7:00am - 10:00am.

If guests are looking for something other than what we offer for breakfast, there is a great family restaurant just at the next intersection called Burger World. They are open from 7:00am - 9:00pm Monday to Saturday, and 8:00am - 8:00pm on Sundays. Prices range from $1.39 for toast & jam, to $11.99 for steak & eggs. Tim Hortons and Country Style are also across the street from us.

What transport is available to get around?

Public transit is available all around town as well as taxi service. For guests who have their own vehicle (or a rental) we have maps that will get you anywhere around you may need to visit in town. Our hotel is located approx 2 minutes from the railway and bus station as well as the local mall.

What can I do nearby?

Our hotel is only minutes from Laurentian Ski Hill. We are the closest hotel to both the city's major arenas: Pete Palangio Double Rinks and Memorial Gardens. One of the main snowmobile trails passes close by on the other side of the highway.

The city has the 2 largest lake: Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. They are very popular fishing destinations in summer and winter. Lake Nipissing boasts a beautiful waterfront with sandy beaches, boardwalks, paved paths for biking/walking, gardens and playgrounds. There is also a boat launch and marina. The Chief Commanda docks there from May until October and does regular cruises around the lake. The sunset dinner cruise is worth the trip.

Duscheney Falls is another scenic location. There are many kilometers of great walking and hiking trails around the falls. There are also the Laurier Woods walking trails just a one minute walk from the hotel.

The Northgate Shopping Center is just at the next intersection. There are lots of great shopping locations and restaurants downtown, as well as the Capitol Center (performing arts theatre) and Discovery North Bay Museum. The majority of nightclubs and bars can also be found downtown. Galaxy Cinema is only a 7 minute drive from the hotel.
