Convenience to our son's home We could not get a non-smoking room -- that was a big deterrent for us as non-smokers. We were pleased with the location and the room except for one major factor -- the unavailability of a non-smoking room, and we checked in an hour early, so one would think non-smoking rooms would be available. The room reeked of smoke. I wish Priceline could make that option available at reservation time.

"Accidentally booked smoking room; manager called me within 5 minutes of getting my fax, met us at desk to make sure we were set, another couple had same great service. Big rooms, big baths, will return"

After the experience that I had the last time I stayed at another hotel in Burlington, this was One of the greatest experiences in a long time. I was treated like a well paying customer and the room was clean in the morning...I had a good time with my kids and the hotel was a big part of that. I will Definitely be staying their the next time I go to mebane.

The staff was courteous and cordial. We were so aware of southern hospitality. My Grandchildren loved the cookies offered to them each evening and the peppermint candies they stuffed in their pockets. The cleaning staff was accommodating.

"The sheets had not been changed which was apparent as there were crumbs in the beds ( both beds ). Even the ""clean sheets were gray. We had to change them ourselves as the desk clerk was the only one on duty. The whole hotel needed repair and a very extensive cleaning."

The room was very comfortable and clean. The day Manager (female and expecting) was excellent. She was very helpful and professional and a pleasure. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean, comfortable, and friendly place to stay. The breakfast was excellent. I will be staying there next year when I come to NC to visit.

Easy registration. Although the room was non-smoking, odors from the common areas intruded. Also, in-room heater was noisy and hard to regulate. First time I had tried a Holiday Inn Express. Won't again.
