First time in Asheville. I'm in the Florida Baptist Orchestra and we were playing at Ridgecrest, about 17 miles from Asheville. When looking for a hotel, we have had some wonderful experiences in the Holiday Inn Express. Stayed in Monroe Michigan visiting family over Christmas holiday, and the staff treated us like we were first class, right down to taking my 8 year old daughter's blanket and rolling them like we were on a cruise! So, when it came time to stay, of course it was an Express. The room was clean, the bed pretty comfortable. Pillows...bring your own! I really wish they would have more on the desk about the local area. We were looking for something to eat for dinner, and had no suggestions in the hotel book, like other hotels I stayed in. Very easy to get in and out of. Kmart and mall very close by.

Clean, nothing shabby or dated, comfortable beds and nice linens, decent breakfast. Great economical pick. Comfortable and quiet.

I usually don't like Holiday Inn's but hmmm...budget time!! So I come across this hotel and it looks nice and I read the reviews and for the most part, they are positive..so I book it. I was incredibly surprised..it was clean, the staff was polite and helpful, it was in a great location..What more can I say...I was pleased..we were pleased and would definitely stay again!

This was one of the most pleasant hotel stays I can remember having in the last few years; everything was most exceptional, the staff's ability to assist us, the cleanliness and overall condition of the room and facility in general as well as the breakfast spread they offered. It added to an overall pleasant visit to the Asheville area and I would recommend it to any of my friends, family or associates; thank you so much to the staff!!

The hotel itself is very nice. Clean, fresh baked cookies, good breakfast. It is near the Biltmore Mall and the Parkway, but NOT near the Biltmore itself, or the ASHEVILLE mall, or downtown. The drive to any is less than 7 miles. The description says it is next to the ""mall entrance"" which is why we picked it. Otherwise, it is an excellent facility

My husband and I rented a regular room for our trip to Asheville. The hotel was super easy to get to, right off the interstate and was close to many attractions. The hotel staff was polite and everything was very clean. The two things I will complain about are: the bed...it was like sleeping on the floor. And the area around the hotel. I booked this hotel because it was right next to the mall, which means it is probably in an area with lost of restaurants close to your hotel. Okay, no. There aren't many restaurants near the hotel at all. We drove downtown for food, which is a very short drive. And the mall....wow, there is nothing there. It was like a ghost town. If you are looking for a nice quiet stay at a clean and friendly hotel, then this is for you!

One of the reasons I chose this motel is because of the excellent comments from other members. We did not go wrong! Food, staff and room were all excellent. The pool was small, but then most HIE have small pools so it was no surprise. We checked in quite early (about 11 A.M.) and we were pleased they had our room ready

Clean room and breakfast bar was very good. Hotel was clean and quiet. Easy to find and had plenty of towels. Coffee and cookies at night was very good, a great touch. Breakfast was good but could have had waffles or pancakes. My sister stayed here and recommended it to me and was glad she did. Would definitely stay here again.

New, clean, friendly, great view of the mountains. We had a wonderful stay at the holiday inn express. We had the 5th floor suite. Very nice, with a whirlpool bath. Bed was extremely comfortable and large. Had a balcony with beautiful view of the mountains with fall colors. The mall was across the street with plenty of restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is very close to the Biltmore Estate and Village. Very clean, close to eateries, interstate and the staff was awesome. The free breakfast was wonderful.....not to mention the afternoon baked cookies. We'll stay here again!

The fitness room and breakfast bar both were very good. Cleaning personnel did not catch the fact that the bathroom light was not working - or, if they caught it, they didn't do anything about it. The fitness room was nice and equipped with several pieces of equipment, towels, a water fountain, scale, & nearby restroom. The breakfast bar was bountiful with good quality, warm foods. The room was nicely equipped/supplied and clean.

The Holiday Inn Express was a great place to stay. Very inexpensive and awesome hospitality. Slept very comfortable. Would highley recommend staying there. It also had a huge continental breakfast that was very good. We went to the Biltmore estate and it was only 10 minutes away. I will definitely go back.
