I stayed at this hotel for one night and found it to be exceptional. It was tucked away in a safe area of town. We arrived late (11pm) and didn't have a problem at all. The front desk was very friendly and prompt. It only took a minute to check in and the same amount of time to check out. We stayed in the king suite and we very very pleased with the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. We had absolutly no problems with noise. We grabbed breakfast on the way out and they had a good assortment of foods and juices. I would definitely stay there again.

The beds were big and comfortable. The staff tried to charge me for the room. I was satisfied with this hotel. It was clean and comfortable for a reasonable price. However I wish I had booked by phone because the rate they were giving for this weekend was cheaper than your price.

This hotel was conveniently located for what we needed for our trip. We were very disappointed with the noisy air-conditioner in our room and the doors that slammed many times during the night. Since it was very hot we planned on using the swimming pool only to find out there was no water in it.

New linen policy at H.I. Express. Facility was located behind other buildings-signage was small-not easy to find. I was meeting family members-all from out of town for a wedding. The staff was very accommodating with early check in, making sure our rooms were close, and giving us directions around town. The rooms were very clean, and the new linen program at Holiday Inn Express is a welcome change (no more scary bedspreads!).

I almost cancelled my reservation after a review on this site as well as on travel website. Glad I didn't! My teens class was at this hotel for a state mock trial competition and I wanted to be in the same hotel. I am particularly picky when it comes to bed comfort and cleanliness. The bed was absolutely wonderful. I had a room with 2 queens and each bed had new pillows and were double sheeted with a light down comforter in the middle. There was a fridge as well as coffee maker and micro in the room as well. Black out drapes helped alot! Even though the hotel was crawling with teenagers, they were all on a separtate floor and I never heard them! Price was a bit high in my book as I paid 96 plus tax.

The Holiday Inn Express Lexington was absolutely the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in for that price level! The room was very clean, had a fairly large sitting area and workstation with a comfortable office chair, it had a fridge and microwave as well. The best part was a wonderfully comfortable bed with a pillowtop mattress, tons of pillows and crip white linens --no gross flowery bedspread you are afraid to touch! Everything in the room was bright and clean and the room/bedding was the quality of a much more expensive hotel. The cable selection was better than average. I don't believe you could get a better value for your money than this hotel and it is well worth paying a little extra.

I just tried to make a reservation with this hotel and was very surprised to find that they charge EXTRA for nonsmoking rooms! that is ridiculous. should it not cost more to clean a smokers room? what a price gauge. will not stay with this hotel.

I normarlly don't stay at this chain but didn't to try their suite product. It is very much in line with the other suite hotels layout. Bathroon was very satisfactory, best showerhead I've seen in a hotel. Breakfast was OK but couldn't used more variety. Internet connection needed hookup from front desk. I didn't see exercise facilty that was supposed to be here. I wasn't going to use it so I didn't ask. Close to many stores.

Extremely clean and felt new. Check out time was wrong. The hotel was in a very convenient location. Close to everything. The room was big and very clean. The bathroom sparkled. I woke up a bit late for the breakfast but came down in time to catch one of the ladies cleaning up. I was dying for some orange juice and she went out of her way to get me some before finishing. The front desk called us at 11:20 and was snippy that their check out time was 11:00 and that it clearly states it at the desk. My boyfriend and I were out late because he is in a band and we were going to need until noon to rest. As we left and he apologized. Over all the stay was very nice, clean and friendly. I would stay there out again of ANY of the hotels around Lexington. It is for sure the cleanest and the most friendly.

I liked the breakfast and Happy Hour. I could hear the people in the room over me walking (late). My husband and I were very pleased with the service and attention to details during our 3 day stay. Most of the people staying there were going to the Masters Golf Tournament like us and the breakfast and Happy Hour were great times for "golf" discussions.
