Holiday Inn Express-La Porte was a pleasant surprise. I am used to different chains of hotels and had not stayed at a Holiday Inn in a very long time. The hotel and room were very nice. The decor was contemporary, the rooms were larger than expected, and everything was extremely clean. If the opportunity arises, I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again. I think they could work on their staffing a little. There was no one to check out with when trying to leave. But overall, I was pretty happy with the hotel.

We loved this hotel. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated. Our room had two queen beds, a desk and chair, a dresser, a table with two chairs, a sofa, side chair and coffee table. Each bed had 4 pillows for a total of 8, plus there were two more pillows in the closet together with an extra blanket. The bathroom had marble countertops and the standard ammenities. There was a coffee bar with a microwave and fridge. I thought the beds were comfortable. The breakfast bar included eggs and sausage, and the standard fare for a Holiday Inn. The staff was friendly and responsive. The "spa" was very, very small. At best two people can fit into it. I was really impressed with this hotel. I recommend it.

The hotel was very clean and quiet. It appears to be new. Comfortable beds and plenty of soft towels. Skimpy on Coffee, soap and shampoo. The breakfast was very good but not many selections. I will probally stay there again.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites is a new motel so is very clean with new furnishings. The suite was one huge room with 2 queen double beds as well as a sofa bed. A small kitchenette was at one end of the room with a microwave, refrigerator, and small sink. The room also had a large desk, table and chairs. It was quite spacious for four of us. There was also an ironing board and iron in our room. Down the hall was laundry facilities. A computer room is off the main lobby, as well as a small fitness room and a room with a small hot tub. Outside is a small pool. Breakfast was available every morning with cinnamon rolls, cereal, etc. This was a wonderful stay at a good price.

Room was quite large, quiet, clean. Nice continental breakfast. Close to pier for cruisers.
