A brand new Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites is located in historic Hot Springs, the Southern Gateway to South Dakota's gorgeous Black Hills. Our hotel is located just East of the nationally rated Southern Hills Golf Course, and just across the street from the prehistoric Mammoth Site. Hot Springs is also home to the world famous Evans Plunge, the worlds largest naturally warm indoor pool. Within just a short drive is the magnificent Mt. Rushmore monument, as well as other must see attractions, such as the Wild Horse Sanctuary, Wind Cave National Park, and Custer State Park. Our hotel offers both single king and double queen rooms and suites, and a two-room Jacuzzi suite. There are also three Kid's Suites, that have a bunk bed, TV with DVD and VHS, and activity table. All rooms are nonsmoking and have free high speed Internet. There is also Internet access available in the business center located near the lobby. Our hotel also provides a fitness room with treadmills and weight machine. You can also take a dip in our calming whirlpool. You can relax and enjoy the amazing view from our private courtyard. Furnished with gazebos and a gorgeous fountain made of natural rock, the courtyard is the perfect complement to any stay. It was very nice, clean and attractive. The grounds and landscape are fantastic. Absolutely nothing. This is the best hotel. I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. The staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed.

Stayed here to go to Sturgis. 11/2 hr away when desk staff said 45 minutes. NO pool even though one was advertised. Also some people were given laundry soap as a courtesy and some people were charged for it. The facility was clean and the breakfast was good. The pillows, linen, and beds were very comfortable. Would stay here if planned activities in the immediate area of Hot Springs but Custer, Sturgis, Deadwood, Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, etc...are all at least 45 + minutes away.

No pool, no in room movies, rooms are small, pitiful breakfast, wafflw maker doen't work, attendent didn't care. Phones not automatically turned on, I did not smarter for staying here. The Gnome would have said ""bullhoggery""

Clean, friendly, and well managed motel. We liked it! Nothing. This is what every traveler wants while on the road. We really had a good stay.

The hotel was very quiet, even though there were a lot of motorcycles. The hotel clerk was very nice and helped us find a store that was close that had an item that we needed. She was knowledgeable concerning the different caves in the area that were interesting to see.

Location near the Mammoth digs. No swimming pool. The hotel was OK, nothing spectacular, but it had only a hot tub, and no swimming pool, this was a big disappointment as we took our grandson on this trip and he wanted to swim.

The room was wonderful. I absolutely loved the hot tub. The location of the hotel. The hotel was wonderful. The staff was quite nice, and helpful. The suite was far above my expectations. A truly nice hotel!

Free breakfast was nice, has coin laundry machines, hot tub andfitness room. It has no swimming pool, and the list on the night stand listing the cost of each items if it is missing the next day. This was a newer and nice hotel. It had a large selection of breakfast items at it's free breakfast bar. Have coin laundry machines, hot tub and a fitness room. But missing a swimming pool. Near to a beautiful state park with roaming bison. About an hour south of Mt. Rushmore. The only thing I would change is get rid of the itemized list on the night stand of what each item in the room cost to replace if missing in the morning. The towels are nice but we realize not free with a night stay!
