The breakfast was great. The room was fine, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was good. The only thing wrong was that the shower didn't drain much at all so I showered in water up to my ankles. And, the sink wasn't much better. Plus the tub was kind of weird...looked as if someone had sanded it to the cast iron.

We'd been driving for many, many hours and decided it was best to get a room for the night and we're glad we got off the highway. We first stopped at the Hampton Inn which is immediately next door to the Holiday Inn Express to check the room rate. We were told it was 95.00 for the night and we decided to check the Holiday Inn Express. They were very accommodating and gave us a very reasonable room rate for the night so we decided to stay there. Continental breakfast was wonderful. We were able to get full without eating the same thing twice. Restaurants are close, some within walking distance. Gas is directly across the street. All of this is less than a block from the main highway. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Our room had a microwave, refridgerator and HBO. We would definitely stay again if we're ever going through that part of the state.

Great staff, on our night they served pizza, pop, beer & wine for free. We asked tons of questions and they answered everyone.

They had a good free breakfast. I didn't like the fact they gave us a very stinky smoking room.

In Archdale they were very friendly and helpful, they made family traveling easy. Few healthy choices in the breakfast selection. The desk clerk was very accommodating in providing towels, extra folding beds etc. They were friendly and treated our large group with the same attention as everybody.

The staff was warm, friendly, and helpful. The AC unit in the room was loud (noise). We used this hotel as an overnight stop for a longer trip. For this purpose, it was absolutely perfect.

Large and spacious room; new bed linens program. Dressing area in bathroom. My wife and I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn in Archdale and would definitely stay there again. It is a new, clean, comfortable and spacious hotel.
