Customer service beyond the front desk wasgreat, breakfast lady and maids weregreat. This is a very clean, functional, hotel with good service from a friendly staff.

Located in a nice area of Las Vegas away from the Strip but close enough if you want the entertainment. Easy access to the airport, car rental and freeway access. Hotel nicely decorated, clean, & comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety of food with great service and if you didn't like what you were offered, there are plenty of fast food restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay there again.

Great room that travelers can quickly access from parking lot. Some rooms have exterior doors. The staff is wonderful!

We didn't want to stay on "the strip" when visiting Vegas. I am SO happy we chose this Holiday Inn. It appeared to be a newer place. The location was great, 15 minutes from the strip, but there is a casino right behind the hotel. We did lots of sightseeing during the day. The hotel is very close to several highways. Perfect location for site seeing during the day, stop back at the hotel change and head out for the evening. The hotel had great amenities! Breakfast was great. They had a "happy hour" evening, which was fun! The staff was MORE than accomodating. When we go back to Vegas, we will definitely be staying at this Holiday Inn!

Well kept, clean, lots of amenities. I saw nothing to complain about. Best place that I stayed on a 7 day vacation. We spent 2 nights there and would definitely recommend to others. They have a wonderful staff and very lovely facilities. Couldn't ask for more.

We chose the HIE at henderson because my son is 15 and I didnt want the hassle of Casino's or bars in downtown Las Vegas but I did want to be near enough to travel in and enjoy the strip ain the day while being able to visit the outlying areas - Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead, Hoover Dam etc. althoughc a little worries about the hotel based on it receiving only 2 Travelocity stars I beleive you get what you pay for. We arrived at around about 11pm and booked in with no problems - we opened the door to our room and were immeduiately pleased with a spacious room with plenty of drawers, a good sized cupboard area, great shower (that ran at a constant temperature morning and night) and good air conditioning that didnt keep us awake all night! The hotel provides free breakfast which, while basic, is a great start to the day and also, while we were there, the hotel hosted free wine and beer tastings between 5 and 7pm Midweek evenings - each night we were there a hot meal was privided (Chicken teryaki with rice one night, hot dogs another, we missed the Weds night treat) Again, nothing special - but a genuinely appreciated complimentary offering. The hotel shares a pool which is open all day long - the water was wonderfully warm and, unsurprisingly in Mid October we had it to ourselves!! - another bonus! Staff were most helpful day and night and the standard of cleanliness was excellent (as an ex Accommodation manager for several holiday resorts in the UK I know how hard this can be to achieve). I'm not prone to gush or write much about anywhere really but this particular hotel got it right in every way.

My husband and I took our 9 month old son to Henderson for an Ironman (triathlon) competition. What could have been a complete disaster turned out to be an incredible trip. We were lucky to use my husbands points for the entire trip (which included a Holiday Inn in Hollywood CA as well as a Holiday Inn by The Grand Canyon) totalling 13 days. This hotel was especially great because they catered to us and the racers who had to get up at 4-5 am to get out to the course. They specifically had breakfast out early for those who were racing that morning. The location was great and within walking distance to everything necessary. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice to our son. The rooms were clean and spacious and we were lucky to get put close to the laundry facilities which were a god send which a 9 month old. I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn as well as the town of Henderson who held an incredible event.

The staff at Holiday Inn Express were very friendly and cheerful on out arrival at the hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good and enjoyable. The room was very clean and tidy. The location was close to shopping, Galleria Mall at Sunset, and the Sunset Station Casino. I would recommend the hotel to travelers not wanting to stay on the strip. There were others large stores like Walmart, Lowes and Best Buy close by. It is also closer to Lake Las Vegas, Lake Mead area and the Boulder Dam. We had a good time. We will not stay on or near the strip again when we visit Las Vegas.

Microwave and refrigerator in all rooms and great idea! The heavy cigarette stench in hallway on 3rd floor. My only negative would be the inadequate air flow in the 3rd floor hallways to refresh the heavily laden cigarette stench.

The hotel was very comfortable and quiet. But best of all, a quick walk through the parking lot gets you to the Sunset Station where the rest of our group was staying. Worked out great.

Great location with excellent access to the city. Hotel cleaning staff seemed to have been searching through our personal item. This hotel has a great location and more than adequate immunities. There are good restaurants, stores, and facilities within walking distance. It has easy freeway access and is centrally located to the things in the city.

ok I biggest issue was KNOW HOT water on the day of my nieces wedding and a big job interview and the air conditioner was preset to ice box !!!

The staff was very friendly and very attentive to me as a business traveler. The room was spacious and comfortable--details important to me because I stayed in Henderson for more than a month. I also felt as secure as could be expected because I got the impression that the staff was aware of what was going on around them.

Room size, clean, very helpful staff, good breakfast. Somewhat difficult to access from main streets. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was one of the best of its kind we have experienced. Room size was very nice.
