The Holiday Inn Express in Hayden Idaho was clean, well kept and had a very friendly hostess / server in the breakfast room. However if you're traveling without children or on business this hotel tends to be very noisy. This hotel caters to kids which is great unless you're there without yours. It has indoor water slides / pools / tube rivers and this area stays open until 10 p.m. nightly. There is also a miniature golf / carting / video games place that shares the parking lot with this Holiday Inn and when getting back after dinner parking is very hard to come by as all the spots tend to fill with people going next door to the golfing. Walls were thin and kids were noisy with excitement. Can't blame them but if traveling on business may be best to stay else where. Breakfast room was well stocked, fresh, and had the nicest hostess! Fresh cookies at the check-in counter were also appreciated. If you're traveling with kids I highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express!

Free fresh baked cookies in the lobby. Rented Ste for 6, should have trash cans for 6! We got two queen beds, and a hide abed, separate by a wall. The trash cans constantly overflowed as they were very small. The cleaning lady brought us a large green trash bag! We ran out of toilet paper, tissues, and the first coffee pot did not work. Continental breakfast was excellent!

You had better like noisy kids if you stay here. To say the hotel is next to a water park is an understatement. The tubes of the water park come within a few feet of the hotel rooms. Arriving on a Saturday night, there were kids running up and down the halls until well after the water park's closing at 10pm. Doors were slammed numerous times until midnight. The staff was understanding when I asked to have my room changed on Sunday. Sunday through Thursday nights were fine. However, Friday night brought back the kids and their parents who slammed just as many doors as the kids.

The Holiday Inn Express is a nice, clean, very family friendly hotel. The hotel is located in a safe area. My room was clean and comfortable. The rooms had a microwave, refrigerator and DVD player..always nice to have when you are traveling. Their Continental breakfast hours were great..went until noon so you didn't have to get up really early to take advantage of it. The only negative I can say about my stay was I had a room located by the front desk and their was alot of noise in the hallway, at the desk and at the elevator.

The staff was very helpful. A couple of the front desk girls were a little grumpy. Great for kids because of the location adjoining the water park. Other family type things to do that looked like a lot of fun. The staff was very helpful accommodating some changes we asked for and for the most part everyone was just great.

Hotel was very clean, beds are very comfortable. Very noisy, not enough staff, no full curtains to block light. It's a great place if you have small children, just don't plan on getting much sleep between a hotel full of kids & the curtains that don't close all the way to block out the very bright lights. Several rooms only have one bed & no hide-away couch which is strange because there is absolutely no reason to stay there if you don't have children. We got the fireplace suite but it throws off so much heat you can't use it. The waterpark is like a sauna & so crowded my child didn't even bother with it. The hotel is newer & clean just be prepared for the chaos.
