The sitting area. The darkness and it smelled bad in the hall. Not far from main attractions. Not in best area but fits the need if you won't be staying in the hotel much.

The price was not bad for this hotel. The people at the hotel were very helpful. Breakfast was fine. There were many choices and fresh fruit every day. Towels were changed every day. The staff did not vacuum the floor of the hotel very often--probably not more than 3 times in 8 days. The sink spickets were not washed and shined every day.

There was one staff person at the hotel who was not friendly at all. The night we checked in he had given us a different room then what we had requested. He told me that we had not booked a room with two queen beds which we had done through you. He had but us in a room with a king bed. When I went done to question him about the room he said they was full and that is all he had for a room open that he could give us. I went back to the room and he called the room and he told us that he had a room that he could give on on the first floor since someone had backed out on the room. He also told us that he had someone who wanted our room. When you took a shower the tub did not drain so you had to stand in a half tub full on water at the end of your shower. It took a long time for it to drain so the next person who wanted to take a shower had to wait 45 minutes to an hour before they could take a shower in an empty tub. On day when the maid cleaned the room she forgot to give us a bath mat for the floor so we had to use a hand towel to stand on when you got out of the shower. The pool was only open part of the time the first day we used the pool the water did not smell clean. The next day it was closed and the children could not swim in it. The hot tub water was cold and the pool water was hot. Shouldn't it have been the other way around.

The front desk people made everything simple and easy. I loved this hotel because in reach of everything we needed and very close to downtown and AT&T center. It was easy to find and I do plan on going there again. The room was more than we expected with it's own living room, kitchen appliances including microwave, fridge, coffee pot, and other needed amenities. The bed was comfortable and the view was awesome. Very pleased as a customer :)

Other than the motorcycle symphony the first night my family stayed, which can be avoided if your room is toward the front of the hotel, there is really nothing to complain about. Our rooms where ready right when we arrived and were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful with many things to choose from. I have two small children that can be very picky. They were very pleased with breakfast and all the options. The elevator is slow so be ready to do the stairs if your in a hurry to get to your room. All in all we had fun.

The hotel was the best I have found in town. We parked the car there and used public transportation for the two days we stayed. This is were we will stay the next time we come to a college football game.

Nice breakfast. Bed was too small. This hotel is located off a major freeway, near the river walk, and provided a decent free breakfast. I only wish the bed was larger (it was only a full size).

The hotel was super clean, HUGE room, very comfortable bed and extremely friendly staff! The guy at the check-in counter, X, went above and beyond to help with with everything! The amenities are amazing! The price is very decent for such a great hotel!!

Location was ok, just on the edge of the "touristy area". I prefer to stay away from a lot of empty buildings and things but we were still in walking distance to Market Square, and a longer walk to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was delicious, plus they had a little "market" where you could purchase snacks- microwave meals, ice cream, etc. The staff was wonderful, always friendly, going above and beyond in many cases. Had plenty of clean towels daily. However, didn't get coffee, cups, or ice bucket liners in the room each day, and had to go looking for toilet paper when we ran out, and it hadn't been restocked that morning. Only minor complaints, overall a great experience!

We were happy with the spacious room, the nice breakfast, and the helpful personnel. Also, the trolley pick-up is pretty close. Mass transit system in this city is excellent!

Stayed 2 nights in a king suite, was very surprised at how nice the hotel was fairly new and not very big, which i like. Room was nicer than i expected (never stayed @ H I before) great for long stay, small living area separate from bedroom. What was even more surprising was the breakfast eggs, bacon, buiscuits, yogurt, and alot more. Location was great 3-5 min. drive to all downtown attractions or take trolley, wouldn't try the walk though. Staff was very nice took about 3 min. to check in. Will absolutley stay again. One negative was loud vehicle noise at night but not a huge deal you are downtown.

again I say, staff was the best ever! I sprained my ankle while on vacation. They loaned me a wheelchair to get to the hospital and to get around my room and when the elevator broke they moved us to a room on the 1st floor in case there were any more problems with the elevator. Room was clean and pleasant to stay in. Continental breakfast was delicious and during the day there were fresh cookies, apples and oranges available for guests to munch on. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Regarding location your a block away from the bus and two short blocks from another bus stop that also has the famous trolleys. Prior to my injury my husband and I talked about the short walks helped us work off the great food we were eating while on vacation. If you end up staying there tell the staff the lady with the sprained ankle sends her best!
