Great hotel, people were nice, location was super. It is new, so the rooms are very nice. I would stay there again!!

The hotel had snacks for the kids and the kids enjoyed the heated pool, jacuzzi, snacks and fire place (upfront).

walking distance to the university hospital. very friendly and helpful staff. complimentary breakfast adequate in every way, complimentary cookies in the evening a plus. excellent beds and very competitive pricing.

The room was very clean and addressed to each day.A nice hot and cold breakfast awaited you each morning(included with stay),very quick and tasty. The staff was both friendly and helpful to any questions, such as a good place to eat or the location of something. The pool was OK just very simple and not Super Clean,Exercise room was good but small and there was one computer available to public. Location was great, close to many things and safe!

Staff met our requests and needs with high professionalism. The jacuzzi jets did not work - that was frustrating.

I would not recommend this hotel. Our biggest disappointment was that the hot tub was cold. There is also a very busy train track right next to the hotel so it kept us up all night. Plus the walls are paper thin so we heard every time our neighbor got a cell phone call. The breakfast only lasts until 9:30 and when we went down around 9, it looked like a lot of it had been sitting out since the 6:30 start. We also had to go to the front desk for new keys four times in a two day stay because they kept not working.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lexington, Kentucky. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Whirlpool tub. I had ants in my room. On my second evening at the hotelI woke up with ants crawling all over me. They were on the tables and in the bed on the floor, the night clerk was very helpful, the general manager has not ever called me over this matter.

It was a nice hotel you would expect with the Holiday Inn Express chain. A good morning breakfast was served for several hours each morning. The hotel is centrally located in Lexington with nearby attractions and very close to the University of Kentucky. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. The staff I dealt with were very considerate, freindly and accommodating. Checking in and out was a breeze.

I was satisfied..except for the internet access in the room and business center, everything was great!

Clean - large room - treadmill. Business center's computers were extremely slow. Good location - clean - good breakfast. Business center's devices were bad and no weights in the exercise room. 2 treadmills. I would stay there again.

The Hotel is good considering the price. Price includes a very good breakfast (eggs, bacon, muffins, english muffins, bagels, yoghurt, milk, good coffee, etc.). Location is excellent, very close to downtown and UK campus and an almost staright shot to the airport and major highways. The only incident was that since the hotel was full, when I wanted to take a shower there was no hot water. I had to wait for about an hour and a half to be able to shower with just lukewarm water on a winter day. I called housekeeping and they said they had ran out of hot water because too many people were taking showers. They told me to wait, gave me a $20 discount and allowed me a late check out at no extra charge. I cannot understand how the engineers that designed the Hotel did not consider that once in a while the Hotel would be full when they calculated the hot water system for the Hotel. The owners of the Hotel should complain to the engineers and get the problem fixed at no cost for them. Fortunately this happened on a week-end when there was no need to run to a meeting. If this would happened on a working day making me to miss a meeting with a client, I would have requested full reimbursement and a reward for a free night. Other than for this "small" incident, the Hotel was good.

When we arrived there was only a smoking room available and my husband is very allergic/bothered by cigarette smoke. They brought in a ionizer to help remove the smell. The staff has very helpful in trying to accomadate our needs. We were able to move to a non smoking room the following night.

Helpful manager when we needed our room changed due to noise of the train. Train noise. The manager at this hotel could not be more helpful. He was great and bent over backwards to get us an upgraded room after we requested to be moved due to train noise. The room we moved to was super, very clean and quiet! We had to move to a smoking room. I am not a smoker, but the manager had it treated for the smoke and I never did ever smell smoke. The breakfast was a great extra. Hot eggs and cinnamon roll just perfect. I will use Holiday Inn express again.

"Hotel is pretty new and very clean. Rooms a little small but with comfy beds, good pillows and thick towels. Internet is not wireless (they have cables you can borrow), is very slow and predictable. Is one of the only hotels in Lex that had everything we wanted (internet, pool, hottub and laundry) that you can still get a smoking room!!!"

This was my first trip to Lexington and this Hotel. I had no idea what to expect. It was the cleanest Hotel I have ever stayed in. All of the staff members were Friendly and very helpful. I felt very safe and the parking lot has excellent lighting. The room was spotless and very well kept. The maids were very nice to talk to and respectful. The front desk staff were perfect as well. The room has everything you need to order food delivered to your room as well as area guides. I loved staying here and look forward to next year.

Pool needs a clock and should become non-smoking. Pizza parties with smoke and dog at 10 pm wasn't pleasant for water exercise!

I have nothing bad to say about the people who greeted us at the front desk. Everyone was very accommodating, but I was surprised and a little disappointed with their housekeeping. Although our beds were made and our wet/used towels were replaced daily, nothing more was done. We stayed for 3 nights... our sheets were never changed, our room was never vacuumed and nothing was replenished. I had to call downstairs and ask for a box of Kleenex because the dispenser was empty on the first day. I was told to come down and get it myself. We were too exhausted and already in our pajamas, so we just went to sleep.. regarding the cups: We were supplied with and used the 2 plastic disposable cups... but Drat the Luck... know, I forgot to pack my dishwashing liquid. On the bright side, the complimentary breakfast was decent... juice, coffee, cereal, excellent cinnamon buns, bread..etc.
