It was a geat hotel with a terrific location. looking down on the main street in Deaadwood, SD. The restaurant was located a block away from the hotel. Which was fine as we were there in the summer.In the winter with some of their 500 inches of snow it would be a less than desirable location. However, there are a number of places to eat next door and across the street. The only problem is that the hotel has one elevator. This is for guest, staff and maintenance usage. The elevator went out part of one day. Luckily I was going downstairs and not upstairs to the third floor.

The location is great. Overpriced for what you get. The hotel was okay. Pretty much what was expected. The location is good, parking is 6 blocks away. There is only one elevator and it is quite slow. Found myself waiting on it numerous times. Beds were comfortable though.

This hotel is in the heart of downtown Deadwood, making it possible to walk to all the casino's and shops. The room was adequately sized, and my husband and I loved that there were pillows labeled "soft" and "firm" so we didn't spend time beating them to find the right one to sleep on! The bathroom was a thing of beauty. Granite counter tops, a large tub.shower, fluffy towels, and great products provided! The free morning breakfast was also good, with eggs, rolls, coffee and cold cereal. Plenty to start the day.

Prime location in Deadwood. One wet hotel towel was left on the top shelf of the closet, but it was hard to see and the maid likely didn't notice it. Our stay at this hotel was great. The hotel was new and clean and situated in the best location on Deadwood's Main Street amongst the old style saloons and gambling halls. The hotel provided a tasty complimentary breakfast to get your day started and a comfortable mattress to sleep on with a choice of firm or soft pillows. The bathroom in our king room was spacious and clean. We really enjoyed the rain shower head.

Deadwood is a great city to have a fun time in.The Holiday Inn Express is a nice hotel, but the parking is horrible.Rooms were very clean, the staff was quite helpful.Casino is right next door ~

Clean, good location, comfortable. Hot tub was cold. I completely enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Deadwood.

This hotel was very nice. We had a great stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of pillows, towels etc. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We would definately stay again.
