We are originally from the Hickory area and travel back now and then to visit family and friends. I prefer this hotel as it is away from the main hotel area and doesn't get the local weekend party people. It is very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and good breakfast.

The TV selection was awesome. They had TCM, my favorite! N/A Great staff, the TV selection was awesome, with 56 channels including TCM, my personal favorite. I will stay here on all my annual visits home!

The people were very helpful in pointing me in the right direction and get me the information that they needed. For the fact that I was thier on business it was pretty good and i loved that it was close to a wal-mart.

The complimentary continental breakfast was great! Gravy was even better than Bojangles! Our heater did not work until early in the morning. I would stay here again. The hotel was clean, staff was pretty friendly and the breakfast was very good!

Only stayed one night. Found the property clean, neat, and quiet. One place to eat close by but its kind of expensive - good food though.

It was very clean and quiet. There was only one place to eat at this exit. Everything else was about 6-7 miles away from this exit. This was a nice, quiet and clean Hotel. There was only one place to eat within several miles of this location. Next time I come to this area, I will be staying elsewhere.

The Holiday Inn Conover was very comfortable and family oriented. All staff was very friendly making you feel welcomed. Everything during the stay was great.

Accommodations were relatively new and spacious. Towels were provided at the pool. The shower heads were great! The carpet in the main elevator needed a good cleaning or to be replaced. The carpet was very dusty. The bedroom and bathroom was relatively spacious and new. The hotel was easily accessed just off I40. The pool was located in the back of the hotel which backed to a wooded lot. I appreciated the privacy provided.

Staff was very helpful, hotel seemed newer. very clean. Convenient to my needed location. Hotel seemed newer. It was very clean and well-kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool is nice and clean. It wasn't fancy, but it was everything you needed. It was better than I expected for a two star hotel. The free continental breakfast was nice.

Loved the amenities in the room like bedding, bath accessories. Stairs were not very visible. Had to take elevator when I preferred to walk up one flight. Wonderful amenities. Loved the bedding and bath accessories.
