We were in Cocoa to go to the beach and didn't realize that the hotel was about 20 minutes from the beach. The hotel was very nice though; the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff very helpful when answering our questions. Internet was free and easy to use from the lobby PC's. It would have been nice to have in room movies. The HBO wasn't working for us in our room.

After having a bad experince at another hotel in Port Richey we were so grateful for Holiday Inn Express in Cocoa. The staff was friendly and helpful, I even had one laughing. :) The beds were so comfy my three year old wanted to take one home. The pool was so much fun for the children. The hotel is very clean, some minor stains on the hall carpeting, and the room was very spacious.

I was shocked to see this hotel only rating a 2.5, honestly it was clean, friendly and very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, actually we ate there every day. We had never visited Cocoa and the staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions. In the evening we would come in after a long day of baseball, (Cocoa Beach Expo College Spring Training) and there would be fresh baked chocolate chip cookies on the counter. The hot tub was awesome. Rooms were clean. PLEASE UPGRADE THIS RATING TO AT LEAST 4.5 they deserve it.

The staff were incompetent -- problems with the reservation at check-in and even at check-out there were problems with the reservation. The carpets were filthy, the beds old and uncomfortable. The iron in the room didn't work and it took the staff an hour to bring a new one to the room. I left a day early because the hotel was so bad. Not only will I not stay here again, I will not stay at any Holiday Inn ever again. And, they double-billed my credit card for the room.

Easy to navigate and the rooms were big and free WiFi. A nice property with above average customer service. The whole property was clean and the rooms above average in size. The elevator was slow and I found the bed to be way to firm.

"3 towels for 4 people, broken furniture, hallway carpet stains, daily cleanup not done before noon unless you ask, and breakfast AWFUL, told sorry A LOT - no value for money"

Good, free breakfast. Was put in a stinky smoking room, and could not change rooms. While the motel was attractive, and the free breakfast bar was good, my family of four was put in a smoking room, with a single king-sized bed. We were very unhappy about the smell in the room, and on the whole floor. The pool appeared to be attractive, but was ice cold. No one was using it.

I stayed here 1 night with girl-friend before taking a Bahamas cruise. We did not have a reservation, but were easily accomodated and at a competitive rate. Hallways carpets look like they ought to be replace; but the main lobby was modern, attractive, & clean. The pool area & our room also were very clean. Plenty of pool towels were available. The front desk staff was very polite. GF used the "business center" room to check her e-mails & such without difficulty. The pool & hot-tub is secluded (back of the hotel) and shaded; not good if you want to sun-tan, but good if you want to keep cool. Location was otherwise excellent: short walk to Cocoa Beach pier, shopping, restaurants, beach, etc. Easy drive to the cruise ship ports the next morning.

It was really nice! Marble everything. Whirlpool and pool was great. Water spot on room ceiling, being next to ice and soda machine, Highway noise. We really enjoyed staying. Staff was Nice. Room clean and fresh and upscale, bath was marble everything. Pool and Whirlpool was really clean and pretty. Great breakfast. Lobby and public areas very nice looks like they host weddings a lot.

I liked the location in relation to our port destination. Slightly outdated and the lobby, elevator and upstairs lobby were dirty. This was a good value for the location and price. The breakfast was better than a continental and the area kept well stocked, neat and clean. I appreciated there was a computer avaliable without having to pay for use or need for a password. I was disappointed at the cleanliness of the lobby, elevator and upstairs elevator lobby. Something had been spilled and multiple staff passed the mess and it was never attended too.

Reasonably priced. The three baby roaches in the bathroom as it creeped me out! This hotel was reasonably priced but looked like it was going through transition. The pool had very few chairs by it and if the pool is maintained poorly like our room was, I would not step foot in it. If a hotel can not pay for a good exterminator, and I have to see three roaches when I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, than I would make the assumption that maybe the pool chemicals are not regulated by a pool company either. I don't think the hotel was well serviced in general.
