We were awakened at 4:00 am, by a lady next door coughing and later by children talking and playing. It seemed as though we were in the same room. Otherwise the hotel was fine.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel and were very pleased with every part of it. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Everything we needed, and more in the bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful, kind. Yes, the walls were thin, but unless you're going to pay , all hotels are built that way today. We were not there for the gambling, we were on vacation to spend time in the Nat'l Park. The hotel was close to everything we needed. I did not notice hallway noise as others on previous posts noted. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone.

The hotel seemed relatively new and it was certainly clean. The rooms were nice and very much worth the cost, bed was a little bouncy. It was nice to be able to walk to the parking lot of Harrah's Casino (machines were very tight during our visit during 11/2008) for a quick shuttle ride to the casino itself. The breakfast was really good; and warm, much better than the lunch buffet at Harrah's. Safety was never an issue, nor did it concern us because there didn’t appear to be a criminal element immediately around the hotel and/or Harrah’s. Stay away from the “Souvenir” store up the street, nothing but junk in there.

thin walls, heard people, TV and doors all night, bathroom floor was very dirty, no frig, no microwave, no lotion, had to ask for cups

The staff were very pleasent and eager to please. The room was clean and spacious. I would definatley stay here again. I was beginning to think that customer service departments and staff employee's no longer cared one way or another . The staff in this hotel reminds me that there are some that still care about there customers. keep up the great work and attitude.

When we checked in the staff at the front desk were wonderful. The first set of room cards did not work. After returning to the front desk, we were given a second set of programmed cards that did not work. On the third trip to the front desk it was apparent that other guests were having the same issue. They sent the maintenance person to let us in the room and later gave us a new working set of cards to enter our room. The next morning we were packing our bags for our departure and we heard this loud crashing sound. The full length mirror on the door had slid right down the side supports and the bottom broke on the floor scattering glass everywhere. It was a good thing our 15 month old child was no where near that door. We kept the door closed so she could not go into the bathroom area. The maintenance person came right away to clean up the mess. He said the problem looked liked somebody had slammed the door by the way the door stop was bent and that most likely loosened the support holding the mirror. The loud noise really rattled us, but the staff was on top of the problem very quickly. The owners should really consider removing these mirrors on the bathroom door as there is already a full length mirror on the opposing wall from the door that does not take any door slamming abuse.

The staff was friendly, room was extra clean and comfortable- larger than many I have been to. Bed was good. During the night I heard some foot traffic on upper floor, but didn't bother us. I really liked this place and is right across from the casino if you are going there. Highly recommend!

Location for this hotel is perfect if you are wanting close to Harrah's Casino. The walls are paper thin and you can hear doors slamming all night as well as the TV or conversation next door. For the price you can do better for less money elsewhere. I do not recommend this hotel.

"This was a pleasant stay, room was clean, quiet, bed was great. We were a group of 3 couples and they accomodated us great, all rooms close together. Will return to this one. They do need a microwave for the breakfast area. Excellent room for the money."

We have stayed in Cherokee 5 times before and this was the best hotel so far. The pool was great and so was the free breakfast! The staff was very accomodating and housekeeping did an excellent job of keeping our room clean. The hotel is across the street from the casino parking lot and an easy walk. We will stay here again!

"While this is not a luxury resort in an exotic location, it's a newly built and very well mnanaged hotel. The rooms are very nice and includes free internet access. It's conveniently located about 500 yards from the Cherokee Casino. Everyone that I deal with on a daily basis should be as nice the staff at this hotel. Will return in the future."
