It was a good getaway for the family to spend quality time together. The hotel is close enough to Palm Springs, about 10 min. drive.

Although tucked away behind an AM/PM store and somewhat hard to find, I found this hotel to be wonderful. The room was great and so was the service. The breakfast was more then ample and always had plenty of options. Would definately recommend this hotel if staying in the Palm Springs area.

this hotel was a last minute trip decision. we are glad we made it! entire facility was super clean. friendly staff, easy check in & out. great value. the complimentary breakfast was nice.

Nice room for the money. Clean and most of the staffwere friendly. Breakfast accomodations were quiteadequate. Could not reach front desk for a wake upcall. They shut down, and noone ever answers. Thatwas inconsistant, with what I expected. One gal,[...]was the best, friendly, helpful and funny.

My family (husband & 2 children 11 & 12) and another family discovered this lovely relaxing hotel quite by chance. We were on vacation - escaping the east coast of Canada's winter, Los Angeles was a little cool, so we searched for heat and found Cathedral City and this great hotel. The pool courtyard had a fabulous pool & spa - surrounded by palm trees, with the mountains in the backdrop. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff at the desk very helpful. Breakfast was good with a fair selection. Very quiet hotel. We arrived early (before noon) and they nicely accomodated us. The hotel is very close to all amenities. We would definitely re-visit this hotel and city.

We attended the Antique Road Show on June 9th. in Palm Springs. At about 11:30 pm someone pounded on our door and tried to break in. We called the desk twice and then the police. The night clerk never reported the problem and the day clerk denied anything happened. We will not stay in another Holiday Inn if you gave us a free room!!

The hotel was great!!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean - the beds were surprisingly very comfy! On weekdays, the hotel gives out warm, fresh-baked cookies in the evening! The warm continental breakfast was also fantastic (eggs, sausage, cinnamon buns, etc.) not to mention also free. The hotel itself was warmly decorated and had an enjoyable pool area. There was also a computer/printer in the lobby area that you could use. The hotel was located in Cathedral City which is only minutes between the two mountain access areas. I must admit that this hotel far exceeded my expectations! I would've thought that I was staying at a much more expensive, higher class hotel! This was definitely worth the money!

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. The bed came with 2 types of pillows, soft and firm. They had an issue with the TV checkout. But other than I would still recommend this place. Seems newly rennovated and maintained. Served coffee and tea 24 hours a day.

King Suite was very nice for the price. Free Internet if you have your own computer or a public one if you don't. Friendly and knowledgable front desk staff.

The HI Express Cathedral City was an excellent choice. Room was very clean, linens and towels high quality. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again. The only drawback was that out-of-hotel eating places were not walking distance, but that's a minor thing. VERY easy to get to as well. Check-in was quick and friendly.

Wonderful breakfast buffet. Not a very scenic location. Friendly staff, provided extra towel for pool at check-in upon request. Room small but comfortable. Extra pillow were nice.

I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Cathedral City (Palm Springs). The staff was very friendly and always available. The rooms were clean and refreshing, especially after a long day in the Palm Springs heat. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and/or recommend it to friends and family. The location was good because it is a quick drive to local shopping centers, or the local mall. It is about a 20 minute drive from high-end outlets. I was very pleased with my stay.
