I was in a pickle because I didn't rent a car, and the ground transportation at the airport was awful. But Holiday Inn Express' shuttle saved the day! They were able to take me to my conference and back, and helped me find the train to the airport.

Free hot breakfast was great. Also, the kitchen was well equipped. Carpet had a few bad areas, nothing major though. This hotel is a great value. We wanted something that was close to downtown and the major attractions, minus the high price tag, and the Holiday Inn Express at Buckhead was the best. Free parking was nice, as a couple hotels nearby charged for parking ($20-25). The suite format was nice, as one person could work at the desk or watch TV while the other slept, etc. The free hot breakfast was added bonus!

"I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids. there were 5 pillows in the room and only 2 bath towels. I got 2 more towels but they ""said"" there were no more pillows. 1 pillopw per person is not enough."

A great stop for a traveler who is out and about in the BuckHead area. Drop your bags, run out and about, get a good nights sleep... and enjoy a great breakfast service on your way out!

We had two rooms, that way the kids were in another room. It was a nice place and at a nice location. It was easy to find and near enough to find the attractions. The room was large and the beds comfortable!

This was a decent place to stay. The suite style room worked well for us, with two small children. We had enough room and were comfortable during our stay. I would however suggest that the hotel work a little more on their customer service skills. We got the "bum's rush" out of our room at check-out time. As a family with two small children it takes us some time to load our vehicle. As we were departing the room the housekeeping staff showed up and began to clean the room. This included removing our stuff from the room, when the maid picked up my purse I was uncomfortable to say the least. I reported the experience to the desk and received not much of a response. I suppose the fact that we were departing guest, they didn't feel compelled to respond to my issue. I thought that most businesses were built upon repeat customers...I'm not sure we would stay here again.

I loved the room. It was so roomy and beautifully decorated. Also loved the 3 flat screen TV's. The only thing missing in the lobby was a bar. It was nice to have the van take us to Buckhead.

I liked the layout of the room and the open space. Noise level from outside and from other rooms. The room layout was very nice, I really like the open space layout. The noise from out side and other guest rooms was a bit much. Parking was very tight and not close to my room. I will probably stay at this hotel again, when I am in the area.

"We stayed here last summer, and our stay this year was not quite as pleasant. Batteries were missing from TV remote, and alarm clock was missing. We requested linens for fold-out sofa and had to go get them ourselves from the desk. When we returned to the room, we realized they'd only given us 1 sheet and 6 pillowcases! Front desk service needs improvement!"

Great location right in the heart of buckhead area of Atlanta. You get a LOT of hotel for the money. We had two bedroom suite with full kitchen and good sized bedrooms and very nicely appointed throughout (three TVs, plush towels, premium pillows and mattress). And it's a quick hop to great restaurants and entertainment. Will stay there again if the price still stands. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed the rooms being separated by the living room, and loved the breakfast in the morning. Can not think of anything. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, we will definitely consider staying here again next year. The staff was great and I did not have any problems, the beds were comfortable and we slept well.

"average hotel, comfortable beds, plenty of space. Breakfast is ok but shuttles only work at certain times. No elevators. 3 sets of stairs with luggage!"

The room was a suite with nice amenities, roomy, and comfortable. The pool was nice and they served a very nice complimentary breakfast in the lobby.

Very Convenient to Piedmont Hosp. Exterior lighting shone into room in PM. Location was convenient to Piedmont Hosp. Room was comfortable. Some of the other guests were very loud, stairs were loud no elevators for upper floors. The room was very well furnished, kitchen w/appliances, sitting room with separate bedroom. The rooms were clean & grounds were clean.

"If you travel with pets, beware. This hotel does not list its ""pet policy"" in the lobby (they have a sign that says ""Pet policy in effect"")... what this means is that if you have a dog under 25 pounds, they will charge you $150 at the end of your stay, and over 25 pounds, $250! Clearly, they try to sneak this charge in, because if it were stated, who on earth would pay that? There is a vet clinic a couple of doors down that you could board your pet at. "

"We decided to stay here because of other reviews, this hotel is where I will stay whenever I visit ATL. We came for a concert only stayed 1 night in a 1br suite for the same price as a reg. room rate. the brkfst was good, the room clean, the staff nice. U cant go wrong w/ this hotel... and its only 10 min. from dwntwn"

My only problem was that it is a 3 story motel without an elevator. For us senior citizens that is a problem as we were put on the top floor. When we complained about this they found us a room on the first floor as it was still early.

I loved having the kitchen in my room so I could store items for my son. I did not like the stairs! Overall I was happy with my stay at this hotel. The only thing I was unhappy with is having to climb so many stairs. I wish it would have mentioned this so I could have requested a lower floor considering I had to carry my son up and down and up and down. Great location. It was close to the stadium and the aquarium.
