Everything was great! The staff was excellent and the hotel was very clean! I will stay at this hotel again next year! We had an excellent stay! It was just a short drive to Adventure land, the hot breakfast was excellent, the room was clean and the staff was awesome!

Our group of six adults and six kids (ages three to eleven) spent two nights at this hotel. Not only was it one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in, it had the most comfortable beds and pillows also. There were FOUR pillows PER BED, not two flat pillows, four; two firm and two soft. WOW!! They were outstanding. Everything was spotlessly clean; bathrooms, showers, lobby, breakfast area, and pool. In addition to the wonderful facilities, the staff were friendly and very helpful. They really went above and beyond in customer service. The best hotel and service I have ever had. I highly recommend this hotel.

I believe this was very close to being a brand new hotel. Hotel is in a good location, just off I80 ramp, and appears very nice and well kept when driving up and checking in. We had (2) separate rooms for myself and my associate. Both rooms appeared to be in nearly new condition and well cleaned. My associate?s room would not lock when closing unless the door was pulled very hard shut. Manager said they would make a note of it. My room had flies in it, very annoying. My room also had problems with the plumbing; low water pressure and slowly draining tub. I really do not like standing in several inches of water while I shower. The conti breakfast was fine with a decent selection of cereals, muffins, bagels, fruit, coffee, and juices. Other Holiday Inn Express I have stayed at had waffles or pancakes which would have been nice.

We have stayed at many HI Expresses, and at this point we will continue to unless we encounter service again like we had in Altoona.The breakfast was poorly attended, totally out of their cinnamon rolls that they always advertise (even though there were several other HIE's within 10 miles that they could have borrowed from), and ran out of coffee!!!!!!!My wife mentioned our dissatisfaction to the shift manager who was unwilling\\unable to process a complaint. The HEI policy is to provide a refund for any part of the service that was bad, but the shift manager was not willing.

the bed was very fresh and comfortable. The breakfast bar was not very good. The room air was very dry and too hot! The hotel room was very clean and inviting but the breakfast bar was not that good. The eggs and sausage was not worth eating. The room was so hot. We turned off the heater but it was still to hot. We later discovered you could open a window. The towels were really stiff. I would stay again because it was the nicest hotel in the area.

Beds and pillows are excellent! Rooms werevery clean. Breakfast should be served until 10:00 AM. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

New hotel, clean and comfortable. Pool was closed early the first day, elevator was closed the second. Nice hotel, clean and new. The only complaint we had was the first day they closed the pool really early when they advertised it closed at midnight. The second day the elevator was out of order.
