The Holiday Inn Express was great as always but the city of Memphis is the worst city I have ever visited. I have been to several cities. I will never set foot in Memphis again

The shuttle got me out of there early in the morning. Not knowing that the whole hotel was booked for Spring break kids. No need, I will never return.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. The staff are especially friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to the airport and downtown. Nice clean room. The pool and spa are great. Very good breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

forget the rest and just stay here. It is so very hard to find anything critical to say about this hotel and ALL of there employees. It was just such a wonderful experience for my family. The ENTIRE staff was so nice and helpful about everything. We traveled with 3 kids and the use of the pool was great. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. It was clean and the staff would continually check the food to make sure everything was stocked as well as come by our table to see if everything was alright. The maid service was superior and friendly. I am usually the one walking down the hall saying good morning to the maids, but at this hotel, they maids are the ones that are saying good morning and asking if everything was alright with the rooms. The front desk staff was so helpful with directions and suggestions on just what to do in Memphis. Our luggage was lost at the airport, and the staff made sure that we had all the essentials that we needed as well as letting us know where we can go to get some other items. When our luggage was finally find (2 days later), it was waiting for us in our room. This might seem like a tiny little thing, but it sure meant a lot to us that these people care enough to take our bags up to our rooms instead of us having to come down and get them. If i have one criticism, is that the place is starting to look a little old. BUT everything was still very clean. The Bell Captain was informing me that they are planning a renovation, which i am sure will take care of that. TRUST ME just stay Here.. EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The hotel staff is probably some of the friendliest folks I have encountered at a hotel and the only thing that I found to be of value at this property. From the front desk personnel to the breakfast servers, they were really good! The location was not good...nowhere to eat within walking distance and their van had broken down. The beds were soft and need upgrading. If you could take this staff to another hotel, you'd have a winner.

I like the comfortable mattresses. I did not like that there was no Jacuzzi in our room. This hotel was great. The people were nice and very friendly. The free breakfast was good too.

I really have nothing bad to say about this Hotel. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. It is conveniently located and all Memphis tourist attractions are at most, a twenty minute drive. The hotel supplied easy driving directions. We did not use the pool, exercise room or meeting room. Our only suggestion would be to include waffles, scrambled eggs or french toast to the breakfast. We would stay again.

The staff is very friendly and the beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed it very much. Cleaning staff accidentally came in and woke us up early in the morning, 6am.

This Holiday Inn Express was a great stay! I was stuck overnight at the Memphis airport and was lucky enough to have stumbled upon a stay at this hotel. The staff here went ABOVE and beyond the call of duty to help people like myself. They were courteous, cheerful, and so helpful. The rooms were very roomy, the beds were very comfortable, the linens were soft and clean, and there were plenty of soft towels and ammenities in the bathroom. They had a very good breakfast available (and available for long hours)! I can not tell you enough how much the staf at this hotel actually cared about all the people who were abandoned by the airlines and tried to make them as comfortable as possible due to the circumstances. The airport shuttle driver even personally called me in the morning to make sure I was awake and would be ready to catch the shuttle back to the airport! I was impressed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel's semi-rural location just off the loop that circles Memphis and close to the airport exit makes it convenient for the tourist who has a rental car and wants to vist the local high spots before flying out. On the down side, there was only one elevator for the whole hotel which meant sometimes waiting for the housekeeping carts and luggage trolleys to make trips before guests could use the elevator. And of course it meant walking up flights of stairs when a power outage put the only elevator out of commission for a while AFTER the power came back on. The brief power outage, that was over before were returned to our hotel, also meant that once we made it up several floors' worth of stairs we discovered our room's card keys were operable, so there was a climb back downstairs to re-do the card keys then another climb back up several floors. Too bad the desk staff hadn't posted a sign by the lobby elevator to alert all guests of this before they climbed up several floors of stairs their rooms.

We had parked our car with them for a week and they waited patiently to return us to the hotel, while we tracked our missing luggage. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel met most of my standards for our trip. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was nice. The pool was small, but served it's purpose. It could have used a good scrub down though.

the maid walked in on me when i was half naked. the pool was cold with too much clorine. the hot tub was extremely hot. the maid never put towels in our room and when asked for towels. they said that we needed to come down and get them because they were not allowed to leave the desk. when they gave us the towels, they were the small floor bath tub towels, not the bath sheets like me needed

Very courteous staff. Nice breakfast area and food selections. Our room looked like it hadn't been dusted in a while. Bathroom showing some signs of wear & tear. It wasn't the best of neighborhoods, however it was very convenient to the airport and that was our primary consideration. We did feel safe inside the hotel and the parking lot was secure. Did have to drive a ways to find a nice restaurant.

I am impressed by the staff service and their interest in providing for my comfort. They even made available their shuttle vehicle to take me to a grocery store. I will absolutely stay there everytime I'm in Memphis and will recommend this facility to associates.
