the room was clean, the ac a little too old, did quite a noise, but was comfy overall.

The room was spacious and really liked the refrigerator in the room. High cost of vending items. I can go to a high priced convenience store and pay less. One dollar for 5 ounces of bottled water.

The friendliness of the people, clean beautiful facilities, good food and hospitality, security and helpfulness. Geographical location to highway and noise. We found this hotel and the grounds to be attractive, clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Our room had recently been remodeled and was clean and cheerful. We were informed of the sauna, computer room, pool, workout room and complimentary breakfast at check-in and encouraged by desk staff to enjoy all the facilities. We felt right at home with this southern hospitality. We'd go again.

When I turned down the bed it looked like it had been slept in and there was a body hair in the middle of the bed. The bedding was so worn and didn't fit the mattress at all! The desk clerk did move us to another room and the sheets didn't look slept on but were just as worn. The entrance to the hotels is a big problem because of ongoing road construction. It appears that the hotel is struggling to stay alive.

The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked the bowed shower curtain and the strength of the shower. The TV remote control for our room only worked partially. The sleep timer and menu buttons did not operate. Over all, our stay was pleasant. We had a little trouble finding the Holiday Inn Express. We came into Kings Mtn. off of Hwy. 74. There were no signs for the hotel. After driving through the city, we stopped and asked directions. The hotel is conveniently located off I-85.
