We tried to have short beach vacation. The hotel is not close to the lake shore, but is one of the nicest hotels around that area. Airconditioning fans are a little bit noisy, elevators slow, free breakfast choices limited, but overall good stay. We would recommend going straight to Saugatuck Oval Beach (20 min), and skip Holland Ottawa State Park Beach.

Clean, friendly, quiet, relatively close to beach, on US 31. Slippery bathtubs despite rails a possible source of accidents kids and elderly. The inn met my expectations for the price. Complimentary breakfast is excellent, convenient when traveling with kids. We had a good time using the pool. Staff very friendly. Well maintained, clean place and relatively close to beaches. Would definitely come again!

Great hotel! Super helpful and friendly staff! Hot tub is indoor and outdoor Year Round! Only negative thing-noisy shower next door. Very safe area. Breakfast was good too!

The best rooms with superb service. You must stay here if you come to Hollan, MI. Get the hotel package and stay here.

My oldest daughter had an event in Holland but we needed to travel with her younger sister and brother. The swimming pool gave the younger ones something to do while the older one was at aher event. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast had something for everyone.

Room is fabulous. Very comfortable bed /down comforter. Pillows for every preference. No restaurant or bar. They suggested using the bar/grill next door at the Hampton. It was not good! Lovely hotel, but missing a few conveniences. Not having a restaurant was most disappointing. Would have been nice to have some sort of shuttle or transportation service available. The breakfast, which was included with the room, was good.

Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable, the rooms were spotless, carpeting newer. We were there for two nights. Staff very friendly and helpful. No restaurant on site, but the hotel next door has rest/bar. Complimentary continental breakfast was better than expected with loads of goodies, fresh orange juice and coffee. Staff looked after area. Lots of shopping nearby. The pool and surrounding area + whirpool were in great condition and well looked after. I would definately stay here again.

A great place to go on Winter break. The kids had a blast in the pool and hot tub area. Had a few problems with the games taking their money but the hotel staff reimbursed them. The only complaint was that the continental breakfast had very little to offer this time. Other times we have stayed there was a great selection, but this time we constantly had to ask for little things like hot water and cinnamon rolls just to get enough to eat.

They have a very nice jacuzzi, half of which is outdoors. I really enjoyed sitting in it outdoors at night. The pool is also very nice. Clean, spacious, and a nice layout with the game center upstairs connected with the stairs. It's also nice that the pool and the jazcuzzi are open until midnight and 10:30 - midnight is designated to adults only. On the other hand, I was not quite happy with the breakfast. The fruit salad was obvioulsy canned fruits - fresh bananas, oranges, and apples would have been much better.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. We ended up in Holland b/c mid-season Saugatuck/Douglas hotels were too expensive, and we didn't expect much. But this hotel was perfectly clean, very comfortable, with a good buffet breakfast that included things like eggs, fruit,and yoghurt as well as the usual carbo-loaded offerings. The pool and hot-tub are beautiful, and we particularly appreciated the adults-only outdoor portion of the hottub. And we found that Holland is much closer to Saugatuck than Fennville, where we've stayed in the past. We'll definitely be going back.
