Good service, nice room, but the wireless internet did not work the first night. Somehow it worked the second day.

It was 15 minutes to my appointment the following day. Room door didn't close tight and latch. TV remote didn't work. Sub par breakfast and room had niether flat screen TV& DVD. Way over priced for the quality. The company truck with plow was under the awning at entrance blocking customer access at check in and still there at check out. My room had neither. The TV remote range was 4 feet max. When I returned to my room after dinner, the door was ajar. Upon testing, I learned that it didn't close fully by itself. The standard fare for the Holiday Inn Express smart start breakfast was incomplete. The only hot items were biscuits and gravy. There is supposed to be protein present as well. When I returned my key at check out, I interrupted the clerk that was reading the paper. He failed to ask how everything was. I guess he is used to getting an ear full if he inquires.

Hotel was very clean. Service was great. Breakfast was good , the breakfast room was neat & clean. Had an attendent that was very helpful & she kept everything full during the morning.

This was the BEST stay I have ever had!! From the Hotel staff to the room it was amazing!! The rooms have been updated and really look wonderful and the beds are so comfortable I would stay here next time we come up for golf. I really like the two sink areas so if someone is in the bathroom you can finish up getting ready. The rooms are so large and cozy.. The pool, hot tub and sauna were the best after a long day of 36 holes of golf. We were glad we picked this hotel and will stay there again for sure!!!

Room was very nice. Room was not ready until 2hr after supposed to check in. My room was not ready for 2 hrs after my supposed check in, my wife is handicapped and it was an inconvenience to say the least, check in desk seemed to not be that concerned initially, have stayed at the hotel before and everything was fine, my wife found a long strand of hair in her food from the breakfast bar, was slipped a bill under my door before check out.

This property is located in a parking lot. we drove 4 hours from lower Michigan and wanted the upnorth surroundings only to arrive at the hotel and find that it is right on the Main drag only just a few hundren yards from I-75. This is an old Day's Inn and the Guest Rooms still need help

The Holiday Inn Express GAYLORD, GAYLORD, MI was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay from check-in to check-out! All of my requests were promptly finalized in very short time. It was a pleasure!

Cleanliness of the hotel and the Pleasant staff. Pool does not look clean, but still good. I was very impressed with this hotel. Especially with the free breakfast in the morning which helps when you have your whole family (6) of us with you. Very good tasting quality food.

Location was great. Staff was nice. Shower broke and toilet overflowed and had to move to different room halfway through the stay. The staff we encountered was very nice with the exception of the night staff who appeared less than caring. The night the shower broke, we were told a maintenance man would be in the following morning so we stayed where we were. In the morning when we called about maintenance, we were told it was his day off and were moved to another room. Had we known the shower wouldn't be fixed, we would have moved that evening.

Easy access-decent price. A little pricey for what and where it was at. For quick in and out and easy location off the highways, a good place to stay.

Easy to find off expressway. Nice clean room with large flat screen TV, coffee maker, fridge, large bathroom (nice towels and body products). Great pool, hot tub, and sauna for kids. Breakfast was more than expected (eggs, biscuits & gravy, hot cinnamon rolls, etc).

Hotel meets and exceeded expectations in all aspects. Nothing bad to say. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay at a very affordable price. Pool area was great after a long day of snowmobiling.

Great continental breakfast. Can't think of anything. A good, no-frills hotel, with a friendly staff, nice shower, great breakfast room. Met our expectations.

Very clean. Refrigerator in the room was a plus. Hard to enter from main entrance due to no left turn light. First experience traveling with my children. Very clean and lots of room. The pool area was great.

Very clean and a comfortable bed and environment. Nothing. Very pleasant and close to main highway, would stay again.

The hot tub & sauna were large & well located. The room sparkled! The pool was freezing cold. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, very nice rooms with everything we needed, refrigerator, ironing board, hair dryer, lots of towels, 2 sinks, and lots of pillows. Comfortable bedding! Great stay!

Very clean. The hotel was not bad, but having 2 different prices for the same room is not good.

I liked the size of the bed, the space of the room and the overall look of the room. I wish there were more breakfast options. I liked how the Holiday Inn Express got away from "the look of a hotel room." You now what I mean, with the ugly bedspreads. This one had white bedspreads with a red blanket. It looked much better!

Very clean, the room was very spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. My whole experience at this hotel was excellent! Everything in my room was clean. If the bedding wasn't brand new, it sure looked and smelled like one. Also, the bathroom and shower were spotless! I shared a room with 3 other girls but it never felt like it because of how much room we each had. The two sinks really came in handy. I would definitely try to book at this hotel again.

Clean, nice, affordable. Busy. Nice clean hotel, close to the freeway. Definitely recommended.
