The Holiday Inn Express Fort Lauderdale was in a great location and nearby to a lot of restaurants, bars, shopping area, and beach. It was very close to the airport and pier for leaving on a cruise. Once I arrived in my room there was a complimentary water in my refrigerator along with a bag of doritos. In the morning they provided a continental breakfast. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I liked the continental breakfasts. The shower head kept drooping... a bit of a nuisance. Convenient hotel for attendees of events at the Broward Convention Center.

This hotel was so nice! We got to the airport at midnight and within minutes they were there to pick us up. The staff was very nice, courteous and very helpful. They were more than willing to help with any information or accommodations. It was very clean and in a good location. The best feature of this hotel was the BED! Their bed was so comfortable, I wanted to take it home! I have never slept so well in a hotel as I did here. Absolutely worth every penny!

The staff was terrific. The room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice free breakfast. The lobby was small but seemed OK.

Less than 2 miles from the beach. Trolley stopped in front of hotel and ran every 15 minutes to the beach. No charge for parking at the hotel. Bedding, towels and breakfast were the Holiday Inn Express quality but the decor of the room and bathroom needed updating. Room had a micro wave and refrigerator. Staff was very friendly and eager to help. They do not have a pool.

Within walking distance to most restaurants and convention center. No shuttle service to convention center. I found it to be clean, staff friendly, and it was close to many conveniences. Short distance from airport and cruise port. They do offer a cruise shuttle for a small fee per person, but the airport shuttle is complimentary.

Perfect choice, everyone was very friendly. Rates were reasonable for that area. Rooms were clean and had no odors. A trolley stop was located right out front and shuttled us back and forth to the "Beach Place", the happening place with tons of restaurants, shops and most important, the beach. Trolley cost was only $ per person. It does stop at 9:30, but taxi was only $ back to the hotel. They also run a free 24 hr. shuttle to the airport, a big plus for us since we had a very early morning flight. There were also eating places within walking distance. I would defintely stay there again.

Free shuttle service to and from the airport. My room looked out to the brick wall of the next building over only ten feet or so away. Basic, predictable accommodation - close to cruise ship port - quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly front desk employees. Nothing fancy - basic breakfast bar provided in the am.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room felt old and tired. The location and the airport shuttle were the main reason for the selection and this hotel worked for that purpose. The room was a bit disappointing, but it was clean and that was all that mattered.

Close to water taxi station, safe surroundings. Nothing. Close to the cruise ship terminal, have a place to store your luggage if you arrive early, shuttle to airport on time even at 5:30 in the morning.

Very convenient to our final destination. Restaurents within walking distance. Staff extremely professional. Does not apply. Very convenient to individuals either going to airport or Port Everglades. Everything, including grocery store within walking distance.

I liked the continental breakfast. I didn't like that there was no pool in the hotel. The room was basic. It was nice having the refrigerator in it though. I was surprised that there was no pool in the place but the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent.

Convenient location, close to port and stores. Had sheer window curtains, could not darken room, difficult to sleep. This hotel was very convenient for our one night stay before our cruise. It is close to the port and there is a shopping center within walking distance to pick up last minute things needed for our vacation. The hotel is right on the bus line. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and the mattress was wonderful, better than home! The only thing I could say that was a negative was that the room we were in only had sheer curtains on the window. The drapes did not close fully to cover the window. As a result people from the opposite hotel could see in our room. The light from outside shown right into our room and we received early morning light which woke us sooner than we normally would have risen. Not a big problem, however, and I would definitely recommend it. However, I think the shuttle to the Port should have been free as was the pickup at the airport.
