Our trip was planned at the last minute when we found out a family member was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The manager was very helpful in assisting us with the details. The breakfast saved our family quite a bit of money. Our room was clean and the indoor pool was a nice getaway for our children. The housekeeping staff kept our room with clean towels! We will be returning to NC again in June and look forward to our stay at H.I.E.

Cleanliness. Manager was not friendly or obliging. Other staff members were fine. We were booked into smoking rooms and wanted non smoking, manager was just not going to accommodate us, very short and nasty attitude. Luckily we arrived ahead of schedule and purchased extra day, at high price, and attendant, didn't get her name, did switch us to non smoking rooms which was very helpful to us. She was so nice and friendly. Next day or so had issues with printer and manager again was snippy and nasty. Oh, and by the way, the computer service did not work on my own laptop until the day before we were leaving. Again, no help with that.

Staff at the front desk and those who served breakfast was very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast could be more expensive. Friendly staff, clean room, nice bed. I would stay there again.

The hotel was very quite even though the hotel seemed full of people. The rooms were quite you did not have a lot of hallway noise. I really liked that. The hotel staff was very accomidating.

Very comfortable room and bed. Know indoor pool. The view was nice and it was located close to where we wanted to be and not a lot of traffic around the hotel.

Heated indoor pool. No fitness center. Staff was very helpful at check in, and giving extended check-out (a problem sometimes.) Pool was small but heated, but there is no fitness room.

Close to Interstate, clean, spacious rooms, nice beds and linens, indoor pool. Occupants of room beneath us could hear our footsteps too easily. They complained. Nice hotel. Interior hallways. Very clean. Bathrooms were nice. Beds were very comfortable and linens were nice. Indoor pool is a plus. Front desk was friendly and helpful with recommendations and directions. Appeared to be in a safe area with other commerce nearby.

Staff wasfriendly and helpful - gave wonderful suggestions for restaurants complete with directions to find them. Conveniently located near expressway - very friendly, helpful staff - they gave us recommendations for restaurants and helped with directions - also gave us directions to a movie theatre and helped us connect to the internet when we had difficulty - rooms are spacious and clean - overall a good value.

I was there only to drop my son off at a summer camp nearby, and the hotel was clean, comfortable, and affordable. Great moderately-priced hotel for people with small children or people who will not be in the room much. It is a bit dark.

Quiet, clean, nice linens, beautiful breakfast, reasonable, Undergoing remodeling. Excellent - last year I stayed at another hotel that was less than nice - same rating - same city - it was loud, somewhat scary because of noise and clientele - this was perfect for any location - in this location it is superb -.
