If you don't mind driving about 30 mins to the beach and everything else OBX has to offer... STAY HERE. VERY CLEAN ROOM, SUPER CHECK-IN, AND FREE BREAKFAST!

We stayed here with two teens and it was a pleasant experience. Clean rooms, queen size beds, good breakfast and nice staff. We are going back and will stay here again.

This Hotel was a good deal for the Elizabeth City area. I have stayed at others in the city that cost almost as much but were smaller and not as nice. I will stay there again.

Convenient on 70S; clean; spacious room. No restaurants within walking distance, only a 7-11. Convenient location for one night from NJ to the Outer Banks. No major problems; friendly staff, clean, comfortable room.

My husband and I stayed there for 1 night on the way to the outer banks. It suited our needs of just 1 night's stay. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay.

This was an ideal location - not too far from Nags Head, NC. There is a fantastic Caribbean restaurant across the street.

Location to the university, friendly staff, location to down town. The location of ice & vending machines from our room. I slept well, I like the two queen beds in the room. The location was great.

The Elizabeth City, Holiday Inn Express was clean, neat and a good value. A complimentary continental breakfast was provided. Chheck in and out was easy and hassle free. I enjoyed my one night stay there.

Easy access. Ccrambed eggs were not cooked properly. Nice, convenient location. Easy access to lobby from parking lot. Quiet.

It is clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and conveniently located near relatives we visited. There were no ice/vending machines on our floor. We were extremely satisfied with our accommodations at the Holiday Inn Express in Elizabeth City. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The simply smart linens/pillows are extremely comfortable for a moderately priced hotel. The breakfast bar was always adequately stocked, which is always a nice way to start the day.

Enjoyed the comfy king bed, higher quality linens and towels. Good value for the price, better bedding and linens than most budget motels. Hot breakfast is a nice touch, but a bit crowded into a small area.

Great location, friendly staff. Slow drains on tub and toilet. I would stay at this hotel for the location again, it isn't any fancy hotel but the location was great, the rooms and hotel was clean which now a days is saying something.

Convenient. Handicap rooms are on opposite end of hall from elevator. The keyword here is handicap. It was convenient, moderately priced and clean. We reserved a handicap room but found they were located at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator. My wife is awaiting a knee replacement and if she could have walked that far we wouldn't have requested a handicap room in the first place. We traded for a first floor room close to an exit. Otherwise it was very nice.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. I would stay there again. I have no dislikes. Excellent cleanliness. Very cordial staff. Very good beds. Good complimentary breakfast. Very quiet. I would stay there again if I am in that area again.

It is the only hotel I have ever stayed at that did not have a fridge in the room. Other then not have a refrigerator in the room, it was really nice. We traveled with four small children like ages 9 to 5 months it was very accomadating and the rooms were very nice in size.
