Clean, convenient, nice staff & good basic amenities. Over-priced! The staff was nice, the pool and room was clean but the air condition did not work well and there were not enough towels. We stayed at a Quality Inn & Suites in Amarillo.

I like Holiday Inn Express usually. This one was OK at best. It was clean but not sparkling. The desk staff was polite but not eager or on their toes. No greeting or friendlinesss and no offers of help finding a place for dinner or conversation of any type. The room was OK but the TV channel listing was totally out of date and the remote needed new batteries (as in all hotels!!). The pool was small and plain and would only be good for someone with kids who wanted to frolic -- no relaxing by the pool, and zero privacy or ambience in the middle of the parking lot. Most of the clients at the hotel were blue collar workers in town for work in the area -- oil, farms, etc. Place was nice enough but not fancy at all, plain and simple -- like Dumas. The breakfast bar was good considering it is all premade stuff. I was most disappointed that they were all out of the famous Holiday Inn Express cinnamon rolls. Those rolls are awesome and I often stay at a Holiday Inn Express just for the rolls. The desk said they had been out for a few days and would not have a shipment for two more days. I am going back through Dumas next week. I am paying 40 a night more to stay at a newer Days Inn across the street. Without the cinnamon rolls this Holiday Inn did not have enough to draw me back. It was clean enough but barely and nothing special at all to offer.

Convenient, friendly staff, well maintained. The hotel room was clean and the grounds were well kept. Breakfast selection was very good. Pet friendly as I was traveling with a pet & 2 kids. Called ahead to see if first floor was available due to no elevator & it was, this helped as I was also with a senior citizen.

Location and breakfast. Could smell smoke in the halls and our room. The shower had hair on the walls and the floor was dirty. The offered to move us after we were settled. They did not offer to come and clean it.

Very clean and excellent price. I felt that the staff was very helpful, the room was clean and the housekeeping staff was available every day. There was coffee, an iron, and a blow dryer available. And the price was very affordable. There was also a gym and a pool.
