the hotel was located within walking distance to everything. The front desk people were very friendly and helpful with all tourist attractions and locations.

Loved the bed linen! Free internet, great breakfast. Paying for parking. Excellent location in downtown Nashville. Loved the bed linen, great view and nice flat screen TV. Free breakfast and free internet in lobby was great.

We had a great stay at the Holiday in Express in Nashville. Location-wise, it was perfect. We were able to walk to the CM Hall of Fame, and the Sommet Center, as well as a variety of restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious. We stored our bikes in the room without feeling cramped. Though a bit costly at $15 per night, the underground parking was convenient for us to come and go. The hot breakfast was a good way for us to start our busy days. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to any Nashville travelers.

The staff was relatively friendly. The location was great for me.Close to all of the business areas I needed to take of and the Hotel was quiet. Now as far as cleanliness of the room...Not so much. The plug in the bathroom for the fryer did not work, the bathroom sink was plugged, and although I reported it and they said that they would change my room, but that did not happen, they did make up the bed, but that was all. No othr type of cleaning done whatsoever. The backed up sink was still dirty and absolutely nothing else was done.Upon check out, they did offer a small discount. I would not stay there again. But the overnight girl was really nice.

Upscale, clean. Parking garage overhead piping leaked onto my car causing spots. Overall, the stay was nice. The room was comfortable and well decorated. Noise was not an issue from other occupants. Breakfast was exceptional and dining room was clean. Staff was pleasant. I would stay at this location again, but I would not park in the garage under the pipes that leaked.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly during our stay whether we needed advice about nashville or a few cextra towels. Continential breakfast was always fully prepared. Great location on broadway to most attractions downtown. Would definitely stay again!

We were attending a conference at the Convention Center, and this location was just around the corner for a short walk. We stayed on the sixth floor, so it was fairly quiet. It may have been noisier the closer you got to the lobby, but we couldn't tell. We were happy with the amenities for the price. And, it was clean and updated.

Friendly staff, parking available, breakfast. $15 charge for parking. Everything was fine. If I could change anything about my stay I would have to say the $15 parking fee and the shower curtain wasn't quite long enough. I felt bad getting water all over the bathroom floor.

The hotel was OK I don't think it was rated properly (3.5 star) I think it was between 2.5 to 3.0 star.

Staff very nice and friendly. Front desk staff ALL exceptional and helpful. Front desk staff very helpful when asked for directions, a place to eat, etc. Van service above average. Breakfast awesome but wish there could be a restaraunt or deli/grill in the hotel. Housekeeping was less than satisfactory. Difficult to get room serviced before LATE afternoon.

Great continental breakfast, superior staff - very helpful. Pay to park in garage.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, Three of us shared a room and there were three sets of towels and coffee cups when we got there. It would have been nice to have 3 packs of caffinated coffee but we survived. Due to the holiday and other functions the hotel was full to the gills but the free breakfast was good and they kept bringing out new supplies. The hotel is a bit uphill from downtown so be sure to save some energy for the climb back or save some money for a cab. It was actually very handy to everything and easy to get to.

We stayed for the IBMAs (International Bluegrass Music Awards). Its within walking distance of anywhere you need to get to in downtown. Close to everything, but far away enough to not have to be in the middle of all the commotion. The room was extremely clean, bathroom included! The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows (an added plus!)And the TV was a flat screen plasma (very nice!). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall great experience, will probably stay again next year!

The bed was really comfortable. There was no refrigerator to keep leftovers in, no microwave and barely any channels to watch after coming in from the long day. This hotel is very nice, our room was really clean. I didn't like that we had to pay $15.00 a day for parking.

The location to downtown made it perfect for walking to the fun hotspots like Tootsies, The stage, and Country Music Hall of Fame. The room was neat and clean, my only complaint would be that housekeeping never came back to clean the room when we asked them to come back in 15. When returning from a night out the room was exactly they way it was left in the afternoon. I am already looking forward to planning another trip to Nashville and hope to be able to stay at the Holiday Inn Express again

The Holiday Inn Express was clean, the bed was very soft, great location to walk to the action on broadway. The breakfast the next morning was ok but nothing had a flavor to it.

Convenient to downtown and getting around in Nashville. Extra charge for parking.

This hotel was just a short walk to downtown Nashville. I didn't like to have to pay for parking, but at most of the hotels in downtown there is an extra charge. The room was clean & comfortable. The only real problem was that our key card never worked. Everytime we wanted to get into our room we had to contact the front desk so they could send maintainance up to let us in. They said that about 20 - 25% of the key card weren't working after they did somekind of upgrade to the system. We stayed 2 nights and they never fixed the one for our room or offered to switch our room. The maintainance guy were nice but after being out all day & night and dead tired it was annoying to have to wait at least 10 minutes to get into our room. The free breakfast was the usual stuff(muffins, bagels, eggs, bacon, cereal, fruit, juice, coffee, etc..)

Great staff andgood free breakfast. Small bathrooms. Comfortable beds, nice TV andsome upgrades. Free internet but it didn't work in room for some reason.

February, 2008
My wife and I were in N'ville for a getawy weekend in Feb. The rate was reasonable, although when we arrived we had been upgraded to a suite which was more spacious and very comfortable for the same rate. The suite's living area contained a sofa bed, two arm chairs, coffee table, desk, tv and refrigerator. The adjoining bedroom had a king size bed, 2 nightstands, tv, chest of drawers, arm chair with ottoman. The bathroom had a separate dressing area as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. There were some maintenance issues going on, as only one of the three elevators was working the three days we were there. In the evening on Sat. night they had a shuttle to take you to the clubs and restaurants in the nearby downtown area. Free breakfast was convenient, but that is about all. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we would stay there again.
