Location was perfect for graduation at the convention center (several blocks) with our adult children arriving by bus (across the street). Easy on/off the interstates for travel. Breakfast buffet had enough variety to please everyone. Rooms big enough for nuclear family gathering after the festivities. Hallway on exterior perimeter kept most of city noise out.

Convenient location. The room was clean, but could have been better cleaned. For the extra money we took the King Suite. Impressively sized room and a good value for the money. The room must have been close to 800 square feet. For a room that size it was fairly clean. Found a few hair in a dresser drawer and a beer cap on the windowsill. Other than that it was a good experience. Parking space is a little lacking.

The hotel was clean, the rooms functional and pleasant, the facilities like the pool and fitness room were about what you'd expect. The surrounding neighborhood definitely leaves something to be desired however. However, I can't say enough about the staff in this hotel, and that includes everyone from maintentance and housekeeping staff to managerial and front desk staff. The room's air conditioner didn't cool well enough for my tastes. They attempted to make it right as soon as I complained. When that attempt failed we were immediately given another room and the maintenance man helped us move. Whenever I was unhappy about something, they made it right. I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and there aren't enough positive words in the English language that I can say about this staff. They bend over backwards for you to make you feel at home.

It was obvious that the bathroom was not properly cleaned. There was some brown stains on the toilet seat and cover and hair found on the floor and shower. Called to have housekeeping come to clean - waited 2 hours - had to call to cancel to use bathroom to get ready for business function. Very disappointed.

The hotel experience itself was great no problems at all and the shuttle service was a great plus, we didn't expect that.

Continental breakfast was out of food at 8am and parking was nonexistent.

The Holiday Inn Express Downtown is in a great location - easy to walk to downtown stuff. Room was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I recommend this hotel. Free internet, pool, spa, hot tub, free shuttle service to malls/events, good coffe/cinnamon buns for breakfast, shuttle from airport, flat screen TVs, comfortable beds. Will recommend good restaurants that give 10% discounts. Only complaint - they don't have glass cups, only paper cups for drinks in the rooms.

The Holiday Inn Express Downtown was one of the most pleasurable hotel experiences I have ever had. I was there as part of a 150+ person conference and the hotel was able to accommodate all of our needs. The rooms were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are ever in Albany, I would highly recommend this hotel...you can't go wrong! Free internet, pool, spa, hot tub, good cinnamon buns for breakfast, shuttle from airport, flat screen TVs, comfortable beds, and most importantly, great hotel staff.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room looked at an elevated highway with a train track behind that. It was advertised as riverfront but I couldn't see it. The pool and hot tub was nice except it was off the main lobby where everyone could have a good view.

Staff was exceedingly gracious and accommodating. They provided shuttle service to a number of sites in and around the capitol. I never needed to take a cab. The hotel itself is in fine condition. The room was well-appointed and very clean. I was impressed by the quality of the staff, the appearance of the property, and the overall operation.

The hotel was fine. The hotel was fine for a downtown hotel for business travel. Hotel was fine.

It was a clean comfortable room. Nothing fancy but it definetly served it's purpose and I would return.

Hotel was nice, good location. Did not recognize my personal request for a quiet part of the hotel. Very unsatisfied with my experience, would not likely stay here again.

The hotel was nicely redone and the rooms were very nice.

Free shuttle till 11pm, very nice rooms. The location is in a dumpier part of the city but it seemed safe. Great staff, service andgreat rooms, don't let the location deter you. Free shuttle till 11pm and the driver was great!

I stayed at this location while going to the races at Saratoga, which wasn't too far away, about twenty minutes. Hotel staff is very friendly. The included breakfast had enough to satisfy most people, and supply was constantly replenished. Room was very comfortable but AC never felt super-strong. Only detractor was the swimming pool, which at times felt like romper room, with too many children, even in the hot tub, with no parental supervision.

Clean, efficient, convenient. Lovely, clean and convenient. Good breakfast, friendly staff.

Nice spread for breakfast and something for everyone. None of the printers in the business center worked! Desk manager didn't know how to get them fixed. Short sweet visit. Equipment in business center should work; Albany is a place where many people go for business.
