The Daytona International Speedway is within easy walking distance of the Holiday Inn Express Daytona Beach, as are the Volusia Mall and many museums and dining opportunities. This hotel in Daytona Beach is also right in the action for the annual events that roll in seasonally, such as BikeWeek, Biketoberfest, and 24 Hours of Daytona. Boardwalk is a famous strip on the ocean that offers nightlife, entertainment, dining, and unique shopping experiences all in one place, and this can be reached by car in less than ten minutes. Casino cruises are also popular in this area.

Location, comfortable, friendly staff andright cost. Would have liked more room in bathroom for bag/stuff. Having stayed at this hotel 5 years ago, I thought I could count on this hotel to deliver on all accounts and it did. This hotel is in a good area and is centrally located next to I-95 so that wherever you wanted to go it was easy. The free breakfast was great. I felt safe, area is well lit and in a safe location. Room was cleaned well and all staff was courtious and very willing to be helpful.

My daughters and I spent a long Thanksgiving weekend with my son who goes to Embry-Riddle. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The room was clean and it was handy having the refrigerator. The girls liked the gym, and they were also able to use the tennis courts because the hotel supplied the balls and rackets. It was convenient having the free breakfast in the hotel and the neighboring restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. I have stayed at other hotels in the area and although it's not the closest hotel to my son's school, I prefer the Holiday Inn Express.

If you're looking to save a couple of dollars and not expect anything luxurious, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, for just about 20 more, there seems to be better places just down the street. The bathroom was my biggest issue. There was still hair on the floor, mold/mildew in the corner of the tub, and the water pressure was terrible. The tub drain didn't work so well either. The mini-fridge looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a fairly long time. The sheets were clean though and the bed was comfortable enough. My particular room faced the highway (I-95) so light sleepers, beware. The noise can definitely be heard. Breakfast was good for on the run. It suited its purpose for the one night I stayed.

Location. Seems more like a motel 6 than a 2.5 star hotel. The location is good for access to the Speedway; however, that is the only thing good about this hotel. It seems most suited for college students on Spring Break. The grounds and rooms are much in need of maintenance and upgrade. I do not recommend this hotel for business or leisure, unless you are a college student on Spring Break, of course.

Visited the area for Business and some R and R- excellent choice. Good price for product, excellent Breakfast and near restaurants too. GREAT pool area.

Comfortable beds, good TV and nice complimentary breakfast. This seems to be an old motel that was spruced up to be a Holiday Inn Express.

The staff is very courteous and friendly. My first room did not have hot water and the toilet backed up. The hotel is in a great location. The staff is great,morning and evening. The rooms need some tlc.

The beds were very comfortable and I slept well. I did not receive the wake up call I requested for. Convenient, easy access to highway, restaurants and stores.

Good location, convenient to Embry Riddle University, friendly staff, shuttle to airport, near shopping & restaurants. Nice, clean, convenient, friendly staff, comfortable rooms, etc.

Very nice pool and tennis courts. Too noisy with high school kids. Fairly pleasant facility, but not as modern as I would like. The breakfast offering left a lot to be desired. Wasn't totally put off by the experience but would have liked a nicer facility.
