Very friendly staff. My room had only sheer curtains so the room was very bright until the sun went down. I would recommend this hotel to any one needing convenient access to downtown Sacramento.

Great customer service . I was here last month in September for 10 days. Came back in October and recieved friendly and pleasant welcome from the staff like they have known me for years. Rooms are cozy, beds are so comfy, breakfast is great and very clean breakfast area. Towels smell so clean so as the bed sheets. I tip my hat to YOU ALL. Overall rating I will rate this Hotel and the Staff above and beyond superior.

We enjoyed Old Sacramento- it had some neat old fashioned shops and lots of food choices. The location was convenient for us since we drove into San Fransico for the day (lots of traffic and people!). The front desk staff were friendly and helpfull with directions. Rooms were clean but since we were right next to the stairs and elevator- it was very noisy.

Very close to all the down town Sacramento attractions, a good value. I cannot find any fault. Good value close to all the Sacramento attractions.

This is a very conveniant hotel. If you want to see the capital...but I would not stay here agian.. I did not feel safe in this neighborhood. I did think the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was greatand nice room but I could'nt get over the saftey factor.. Next time I will pick a hotel outside the City. Sorry Sacramento!

The hotel was great, I had free breakfast and free wi-fi. Gets no better than that. Great location right downtown. There wasn't a pool, but guest were free to use the pool of their sister hotel next door.

Nice hotel. Beds were so comfortable, matchs Hyatt or other four star bedding. It was nice that snacks and bottled water were free. Only downside was the location, a little to run down for my comfort.

Complimentary breakfast was great! Room and bathroom were very comfortable and roomy. 4th floor room had a huge window looking out into leafy tree branches. There was a loud vibration noise (constant) at our end of the hall room--maybe the building's AC unit? It didn't bother me after getting used to it, but I can see how it might be very annoying to a light sleeper. I'm sure if we had asked they would have switched our room--they didn't seem to be very full.

Breakfast buffet was great! Check in was easy. I was interested in safety and I felt very comfortable in this hotel. Parking was great, check in was quick and easy. Overnight stay included breakfast. Room service was quick (my room had wrong menu, they brought the right one quickly, and food delivery was quick). Check out was also easy.

The Holiday Inn Express has been the best hotel ive stayed at in Sacramento. Very clean, friendly staff and great location, walking distance from Mikunis and nightclubs ;)

What a great hotel! The location was prefect, very close to the convention center. We had a lovely 5 minute walk to the convention center. It is quiet a bargan compared to the other hotels in the immediate area of the convention center. The governors mansion was next door, as was mansion row. Beautiful buildings to look at. We also took a nice long walk to the capitol, another 5 minutes from the hotel, and we walked down to the waterfront and old town, maybe a 20 minute walk. Everything was so close and convient. There is also a mall that is about a 10 minute walk. The hotel itself was wonderful, clean, comfy, nice staff, great breakfast, everything we wanted in a hotel. I really appreciated the free parking, so many other hotels in the immediate area charged their guests to park. This is the second time I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express, both times I would HIGHLY recommend this to anybody traveling for business or pleasure.
