Date of Stay: November, 2008

The hotel needs an update - the bathrooms were outdated and needed to be refurbed. The toilet kept running 24 hours - the paint was peeling from the ceiling and walls in the batchroom - the vent was LOAD and completely rusted out. We kept getting woken up by the room next to us because they had a kids sports tourn and the parents stayed next to us and the kids litterally kept coming in and out of the room - litterally slamming the door 37 times (we counted) in a single hour and it didn't stop. The hotel staff said they couldn't do anything.

Had a small spread so washed after each guest. Not old spread that are not cleaned. Breakfast was so disorganized. One person saying they would get more coffee and didn't return forever. We didn't get breakfast. The hotel was clean and nice staff but he free breakfast was a joke. They were out of everything and only one person working took 1/2 for just getting coffee. I never got a cup. Food was such a small amount it ran out before only a few people got food. No milk for cereal, etc. It was the worst breakfast ever. It could have been good if they planned on enough food and a little help. We went out to eat after wasting an hour trying to get breakfast.

Front desk very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nice, good sized, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Pool was refreshing and well cared for. Within walking distance to restaurants and close to Clearwater Beach.

The Holiday Inn Express at the Icot Center was all we expected plus some. Every thing from check in/out to the room was supurb. A very nice pool area with a spa to easy parking and access to the facilities. We couldn't believe the free breakfast. Everything from ceral, rolls, toast, bagels, English muffins and biscuts, fruits, fruit juice to cheese omlets and sasuage and bacon and the best coffee in town. the time swent so fast we hated to leave. We will definitly return for another stay.

The Holiday Inn Express Clearwater-Gateway Area Florida was very clean and comfortable. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and were very helpful in referring area restaurants, entertainment venues, etc. My only complaint what the hot breakfast. The options were quite limited and the taste was less than desirable. The eggs were instant, powdered and the bacon was thin and for lack of a better word cheap meat. I ate cereal and bagels and entire 4 night/5 day stay so don't get too excited about the advertised hot breakfast. I probably would find another hotel with better food choices.

It was located half way between my assisted living mother and my hospitalized wife and that was convenient. It was very noisy. There were softball teams competing in the area staying in the facility. Overall, it was a great place to stay located next to a terrific restaurant (Tuson Steak House) and the hotel had a very good breakfast served daily.

The hotel rooms are newly renovated with great colors. Very upscale looking. The renovations aren't complete, but I intended to return once they are all done to see the finish product. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The free shuttle was useful and the restaurants within walking distance were really great too!!

The room was amazing. Great bed and TV. Nothing, everything was perfect. The room was clean, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the TV was a large flat panel TV. Bathroom shower was good and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The business center had two computers and a free printer. The breakfast was hot not just your typical cereal and milk. The pool was clean, and the hot tub was a nice change. Not to bad to the beaches, and there are plenty of places to eat and see near the hotel. Close to the airport. Stay here, it is worth your money.

There is a non-refundable pet cleaning fee, but it is well worth it. You receive this awsome pet package including, dog bed, food/water bowl, toy, treats, dog brush, puppy pads, all free. Besides that, the customer service was exceptional. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and even remembered our dog's name.

Holiday Inn Express/Clearwater area was very comfortable. I liked having the desk (w/comfortable desk chair) and the table w/two chairs. There was more than enough room for myself, my husband and my two children (who are both young adults). My oldest son lives only five minutes away, so the location was perfect. I will definitely be looking to stay again on our next visit.

Great Beds & Pillows. Best I have ever slept on. Internet pricing was great. 10 miles from beach but still a great place. Breakfast was plentyfull. Washer & Dryers handy. Great overall experience.

The breakfast area in the lobby had dirty tables before being set up for the morning. over looking the lobby, coming down from the second floor, the awning type structure was extremely filthy with pictures drawn in the dust. The windows in our room, inside were very dirty.The room itself was great,the mattress was wonderful and led to a great night sleep for all.

Quiet rooms, clean, excellent breakfast and safe. Marginal quality pillows even with a wide variety; however on the second night I brought up my pillows that I carry in the truck. Quiet rooms, clean, excellent breakfast and they provide three luggage carts which practically ensures that one will be available for early checkout.

First, hotel was too far a way from the beach and the location was Largo no Clearwater, is and a bussines property but the hotel was good, clean, comfortable beds, breakfast was good,and the personal was friendly.

Hotel is just ok. Don't expect much. They didn't replace shampoo in the bathroom the first day. There is no refrigerator in the room. Bed was kind if soft. Heater was noisy. Just ok for the price. Ok if you won't spend much time in the hotel.

Very new. Nice decor. Nothing. Wanted to check in early - had to wait till 1:30 which was okay anyways! Really nice hotel. Compared to the last 2 star hotel, this was outstanding!
