only problem is the parking, every hotel in nottingham is the same though, free hotel parking, have to use local multi storey, but get discount with the hotel. other than that, location of hotel is right in the centre, and hotel is very clean and tiy.

Weekend awayThe hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. Ideally situated in the centre of Nottingham. Parking was close by and good value, just over £8 for 20 hours. The double put me up bed that my 11 and 16 year olds had to sleep on wasn't ideal. My 11 year old ended up sleeping on the floor due to not enough room and being uncomfortable, also they had to share a single duvet, another duvet would have been good. The hotel did become noisy during the night when a hen party arrived back from a night's drinking, but that can be expected wherever you stay and would not put us off staying there again. Next time I would probably book 2 rooms, or just not take the children!

stay at holiday inn booked a double room fore sole occupancy . Bed would have been too small for 2.toilet was cramped and little room. No outside noise ,which was a bonus staying in the city centre. but some noise from inside the hotel ,didn't need an alarm clock ! Car parking is poor as can't offload outside the hotel and £ 8.60 a night seems excessive outside london. room was clean and breakfast average . ok for one night stay and was not an unpleasant experience. doubt if I would return .

The hotel is smack bang in the middle of the Nottinham town centre. For those who are there to go to the clubs or visit the attractions great. Staff wonderful and really friendly and room was comfortable if what somewhat cramped for three adults. However don't bother to use this hotel if you have a car , the tension created by driving round a roundabout three times trying to find a place to pull over to unload the luggage was awful There is in short, no where to stop and parking is in a multi story quite far away. I noticed most people staying attived by taxi. Breakfast was excellent and the bed was really comfortable so use it and leave the car behind.

Great Value in the centre of NottinghamEasy to find hotel in the centre of Nottingham. But ensure you know where the car park is before you leave otherwise you get stuck in the one way system. Great vale and welcoming staff.

What you pay for is what you getFor a basic hotel, this was OK. The rack rate of £120 per night is scandalous and definitely not worth the money. £60 was was we paid and we didn't feel that was really worth it. However, it was not misleading in any way. The staff were pleasant - one man on reception was very helpful. However, the walls are thin and noise travels. Nottingham is popular for hen nights and we were sandwiched between on such hen night and kep awake until 3 in the morning. The hotel can't legislate for this but perhaps a walk around might help.

last second bookingAfter missing our flight we booked into this hotel to await the next day flight. The hotel has a brilliant location in the town centre - if nothing else book for the location. The room was clean and functional and the bed fine. Price at £79 for the night for 2 adults and 1 child was great especially as it included a great continental breakfast. Must stress the quality of customer service at reception was second to none - the 2 guys on duty that night surpassed themselves by going completely out of their way to help with information and by printing flight info for us, none of this was any trouble to them and they had a very pleasant and customer friendly manner. We have never had service like this at any other hotel in the UK - it's a pity some of the other chains dont send their reception staff to Holiday Inn Express Nottingham for a few tips in customer service! Also this is a fabulous city visit!

teenage kidsLooking at universities for our daughter we have sometimes found it difficult finding accomodation where older teenage children can share a room with parents. At Holiday Inn Express the fact that children up to 18 can share is a reassurance as our 17 year old daughter would not wish to be in a room on her own!

Highly recommended ! Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable room ! Would have enjoyed a typically English breakfast though the continental one was quite varied ! To be highly recommended, for sure !

£59 for three is agood price and the hotel was clean and reasonbly comfortable. If all you need is somewhere to rest it is adequate. There is NO hot food at breakfast and the coffee and tea is by machjine - these were switched off on 10 am, so if you were in at 10 (when breakfast officially ends!!) you couldnt havd anything after 10. It is completely self service, and all the pastries, cereals etc were removed at 10 - if you wanted to relax and linger over breakfast it wasnt going to happen!!! The service station on the M6 were better than this!
