The hotel staff was very flexible as we needed and early check-in and it was not a problem. Front desk staff was helpful and extremely friendly - added that personal touch. Pool area, hot tub and rooms were all very clean and well presented. I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone staying in the Chiefland area.

The morning staff that prepared breakfast. The hotel sign is very small and hard to see. Need larger. Very warm and welcoming little place just off the beaten path. The morning staff we great people who went out of their way to make sure you were satisfied.

I stayed in Cheifland, August of 2008. The ownership was new and the property had been renovated. I normally do not stay in exteriour corridors, but options are limited in this part of FL. I was more than pleasently suprised when I walked into the lobby and then again in my room. The cleanliness was excellent and the staff was wonderful. X, the Front desk agent made my day! She was so helpfull with directions. X, again front desk was also very helpful in the evening while trying to find a place for dinner. Never again will I seek alternate accomodations! Holiday Inn Express in Chiefland is the place to stay! Thanks for the wonderful recommendations and this Management knows what they are doing!! Sincerly a loyal HIE guest, K. Rossen

there was trash under the bed when I got there and the hall outside the the door of my room Had trash (beer bottle), there wes no shade or umbrellas at the pool area, walls of the pool were green with alge and the water was cloudy

With in the category of Holiday Inns - this place was top of the line. Clean, contemporary, spacious rooms, very good breakfasts and comfortable dining area, someone was always on hand at breakfast to clean up & help. If all hotels were this nice.... road trips would be a lot more fun!

I was very surprised that such a small town had a hotel that is so well kept. The week of my visit they were putting brand new beds in all the rooms and the breakfast bar was awesome. Great Place.
