We stayed 2 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. It is in an industrial area, but not noisy at all. The room was spotless, and included a fridge and microwave. The staff was pleasant, including housekeeping. We have family in Carlstadt so we don't have too much information on local restaurants, except for the Candlewyck Diner, just up the hill. It's wonderful-we eat there every time we visit. Don't miss it! The breakfast at this Holiday Inn is great-a full selection of hot and cold items, very clean area. The coffee is great too!

My husband and I can't stop talking about how amazing this hotel was. The room was immaculate, good size fridge, fluffy towels and the beds were extremely comfortable. Let's not forget the staff, extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more than I expected, wonderful.Plus, my favorite store: Walmart was only 9 minutes away. My kids also enjoyed the pool, very clean. I wish I could have stayed longer. I would absolutely stay again. You won't be disappointed.

This hotel was in a good location for getting into New York City. The bus stop was very close about a 2 minute walk.Charlie Brown's steakhouse was next door. The rooms were very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Modern, clean, good-value, nice complimentary breakfast. Outskirts of Seacucus located in industrial area. Modern and clean hotel with nice amenities including small indoor pool. Great complimentary hot breakfast with main choice changing daily a pleasant surprise from the standard danish/bagel/juice/coffee. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I would definitely stay again.

Some friends and myself decided to take a short trip to visit New York City, so we were looking for a safe hotel outside of the city, that was conveniently located near transportation into the city---we found it! We rode the bus into the city everyday, and it only cost us $* for a round trip. The only thing that you need to know is that to get to the bus stop you have to walk about five minutes and across the street (right in front of Fairfield), which should not be a safety issue as long as you are not by yourself. It takes around 15-20 minutes to get into the city and you are dropped off at the Port Authority. The hotel staff was soooo helpful and the facilities were kept very clean-good breakfast as well. Not a whole lot to do right around the hotel, but there is a nice restaurant-Charlie Browns that we enjoyed eating at. Quiet and relaxing stay, and a good deal for your money. We were very pleased and will stay here again if we visit New York.

Everything was fine until the last night. We had a huge group of kids screaming down the hall back and forth for what seemed like hours. Staff was apathetic. Strange experience for a business hotel. Rates were high for what we got. The rooms are advertised as suites but they are just hotel rooms with a microwave and fridge. The breakfast is supposed to be GREAT! I never could eat one. The rolls were dry and the eggs were strange. No scrambled eggs as advertised only funky cheese omelets that were uneatable. But they did have fruit. The phone didn?t work and smoke detector hung from the wall. Good thing is the room is clean, close to NYC, somewhat friendly staff, and the vending machine gave me two drinks for free. I asked for a quiet room and I got pandemonium.

the beds were very firm and i felt like i was short sheeted the way the blankets were tucked in. the hotel was very clean and the staff were polite and helpful. when we turned on heater the room filled up with a smell of burning hair. other than the heater smelling everything else was fine . location was close to izod center which is what drew us towards this hotel.

Hotel staff was friendly, accommodating and room was very nice and bathroom was bright. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. our stay, although brief, was very nice.

When we arrived, check in was smooth, however, we were led to a room that had a king bed and a sleeper, not two double beds as we expected. The sleeper sofa looked as if the sheets had been used. We were there for two nights, and NEVER recieved housekeeping, even though we were told it is included in our stay. We had to call down each day for clean towels, and our trash remained in our room. Bus stop to New york is across a major street. The gym has only one working treadmill, and no weights, so wake up early if you want to work out. The location to New york was good, and the pool was nice. Overall, not too bad if you push for housekeeping.

this hotel was fine - not a great location unless you are going to see a football game - otherwise you are literally tucked in behind the stadium. that being said, it was easy to get in and out of nyc, the room was clean and spacious and the staff was very courteous.

Located near a local bus stop with round trip bus service to Port Authority in NY City. It was located in a sort of Industrial Park Area, but there was a restaurant next door and bus stop was one block walking distance. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice and offered tips on taking the bus into NYC. Restaurant right next door and a free breakfast in the morning were great extras. We would definitely stay here again as itwas right and very close (15 minute) drive to Lincoln Tunnel.

We were in town for a Devils game, not being familiar with an area is always a challenge when reserving a room. The hotel is in a light industrial area, the traffic was not an issue for that matter the noise either.Staff was awesome, very friendly and helpful. We inquierd about a taxi to the game and the desk person took care of it for us. The arena is about 2 miles away but the walk would be tough, the cost to the game was 18.00, back from the game 20.00? They never turned the meter on.There is a steak house right next to the hotel. Good hearty fare, the lounge area was a good after game hang out.We will be going to 2 Devils games this year and will stay here again, the taxi well that's another story.

The bus stop is close by, just 2-3 minutes of walking. The bus takes you directly to the Time Square, where you can take subways. The hotel staffs were very friendly and the free breakfast was good. The neighborhood is quiet and good.

This hotel was very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed staying there and we really enjoyed the free coffee and tea. The hotel has a bus close by to take you into New York and they let us leave our car at the hotel. The staff was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. It made our stay very pleasant.

Great price and location to site see in NYC. Mold in shower and computer in business office went down. So easy to get into NYC by a bus. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was free and very decent - it was the highlight of my son's day. Pool was decent and never too crowded. Room was a great size and free internet access, fridge and microwave. Charlie Brown's steakhouse is right next door with amazing food.
