I travel to Boston paid fo once a year staying at the Hampton Inn at Revere to get to the beach. Last year the price and the room did not match, I was extremely disapointed in the sub-par room I had i had paid a high fee for. This year I inadvertently chose Holiday Inn Express when in fact I thought I chose Holiday Inn at Logan airport. Not only was I extremely happy with the hotel but found I was very close to my parents home via the T line which is just too easy to utilize, no traffic or parking hassles and a bit of an experience:). The room, clean, cozy perfect view of downtown Boston. The staff, all hotel staff should follow the great customer service example of the Holiday Inn Express staff, all staff member from check-in/check-out, shuttle and housekeeping. We got to the beach, mom's house and sight-seeing, it was totally fab!!! Only one little issue, as an asthmatic I found it a stuggle to use the fitness room just had to keep the door open, but other than that the experience was GREAT!!! Going back next year and considering staying at the Holiday Inn Express! Richele Beckett

We have reserved 2 double beds on 23, 24/May -Holiday Inn Boston. But when we arrive led, the staff of hotel, said they just has one standard room(one queen bed)for us.It is so surprising, and we can't consider the reason why we paid 2 double beds fee, but we haven't got that room.

Arrived, via Dartmouth Coach, from Lebanon, NH at Logan Airport, called Holiday Inn to come pick me up which they did in approximately 20 minutes. Check in was automatic, was greeted by name. No problems at all. Room was standard. Was awakened in AM and shuttle arrived on time and delivered me to airport at approiate time. Everyone was very courteous.

Was unhappy room was a smoking room. Was told it was a non-smoking hotel, which it is except on the floor we were on. Room was fine after I bought a plug-in airfreshner. Breakfast was okay, make sure you get up early to get a cinnamon bun. Usually run out by 7:30. Easy access to the T but did not want to came back after dark ,a little scary walking at night from T back to hotel area; fine during the day. T was great for getting around. If you want to take day trips Gray Line picks up at hotel for the trips as well as for the Bean Town Trolly and brings you back at the end of the trip.

It was not too far to the nearest T station, which then was a quick ride to all of the tourist areas. The complimentary breakfast was very good -- you have to love hot cinnamon rolls -- and the evening cookies were great, too. Target was also a quick walk as the strip mall was right around the corner. It was very convenient.

They shuttle you to the "T" and to the convention center-just call the desk for times- room very nice (603) over looking Boston Skyline. Walked to the "T" about 1/2 a mile. Recommend a female to do it only in daytime... Breakfast was great each day- We are in the preferred customer club(no cost to you) and got a 2 pm late check out. Loved Boston alot- shopping down the hill from the hotel- TJ Max, Target, Home Depot. Bed alittle firm but nice bedding...Also able to get internet from our laptop in the room.

The front desk was amazing, friendly and very helpful. We required extra towels and they brought to us very quickly. We were disapointed that there was not any pool or spa at this location, but we managed. They provided 24/7 fresh hot coffee was a plus for my husband.

We had previously stayed at this hotel because it is affordable and close to Fenway Park. It was a nice accommodation with good amenities and convenient to the ballpark.

This was an excellant hotel for the price. The rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly, and the free breakfast wasn't bad either. The hotel is located less than a five minute walk from Andrew Station, and from there it's only four stops on the subway and you are in the Boston Common, the heart of Boston. The beds are nice and firm, and there is a lot of space in the rooms so you don't feel confined. The bathroom is kept clean and the shampoo and conditioner is always replaced if you want it. All major appliances like the iron and hair dryer are new and very functional. There are no in-hotel movies to order from, but I didn't need them anyway. The TV has a few major cable networks including HBO, but I rarely watched tv except for the morning news. The fitness room had five machines and the majority didn't work, but concidering all the walking I did in Boston, it was nothing to get upset over. With the throughway and trains being next to the hotel I was a little concerned over the noise level, but I had a room on the fifth floor facing away from these so my nights were nice and quiet. The quality of the hotel made my vacation very enjoyable, and I will highly recommend this hotel to other travelers.

I have stayed at this hotel many times on trips to Boston. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfasts are great! The rooms are clean and I'm happy to see they recently upgraded to softer, higher-quality bedsheets and pillow cases and blankets. The hotel is conveniently located near a huge shopping plaza around the corner including a big grocery store, and there is also a T station (underground train) that is about a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. If you're looking for a luxury hotel experience, then this place isn't for you. But if you're looking for quality affordable lodging so you can use the money you're saving on doing more fun things while you're in Boston, then this is the place.

My husband & recently stayed here during an anniversary trip & were very happy with the location, cleanliness, & staff. We chose this particular hotel b/c it was so close to the freeway & were excited to find it in a relatively safe neighborhood-we felt safe walking to the shopping center next door, the subway across the freeway & a restaurant a few blocks away. We were going to be driving up to Maine & even down thru Rhode Island & Conn so we were very happy to be so close to I-93 which would then hook up to I-90 & I-91. The front desk staff was more than willing to give suggestions, directions & opinions about anything I had a question about. The b'fast each morning was better than anything I could have imagined. there was cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, toast, waffles, eggs, bacon. sausage, juice, coffee, & hot tea/chocolate. The only bad thing was when it got crowded there was a long line for the toaster but otherwise it was great. there were 2 computers in the lobby for use by the guests for 10 mins at a time which was nice since I had forgotten to get directions to one of our destinations. The subway station was maybe 1/2 mile away-maybe shorter- & VERY easy to get to. We went to hockey, basketball. & baseball games & took the subway to each which was nice since I had been told not to drive in Boston if I could avoid it. The subway comes out right next to the TD Banknorth Garden-where the Bruins & Celtics play- & for the Red Sox game there are 2 stations just right around the corner from the ball park. If I ever go back I will stay here again!!

Our room was always kept clean and smelling fresh. The staff was more than willing to accommodate our daily service of their shuttle to the train station. Love the size of the room, not too big but not too small, and the bed was big enough us. The location of the hotel was great because the trains were ab out 5 blocks away, so using the Boston Trains were very helpful.

This hotel is located a couple of milessouth of the central city along I-93. On the opposite side of the freeway is a subway station. The hotel is located in a big commercial development with a Courtyard hotel, Target, big grocery store, etc. The neighborhood feels safe. This hotel is decades old, but very well maintained and clean. My room was quite small, but very adequate. The hotel provides a good continental breakfast, a lobby computer, and a free shuttle from the airport. The hotel provides about 25 cable channels, it could be better. This hotel is not designed for kids (small room and no pool). I went Boston on a convention. I got a very attractive rate through travel website in a combination hotel and airfare package. I stayed here rather at the convention. The subway provided excellent connections and saved about 150/night from staying at the convention hotel in Copley Sq. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express several times so obviously I am very satisfied with my past experiences. I always find the hotel staff to be extremely professional, attentive, and friendly. The rooms and hotel overall are clean and well-maintained. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet offering a variety of healthy, tasty food, perfect for getting you started in the morning. The hotel is located in the working-class residential neighborhood of Dorcester, with lots of affordable pizza/sandwich shops, and actually what looks like a nice Italian restaurant on one of the side streets that I may check out on my next visit. The T (subway) stop to downtown Boston is a 5-minute walk away. My only (minor) complaint is that the bedding seems a bit cheap - the comforter/bedspread is rough and not soft or cottony, and one of the blankets underneath is made up of some kind of foam material.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The charge for the airport shuttle that was advertised as free. We had a wonderful experience there. The shuttle service to the closest subway was very efficient. It was also a short walk (5 minutes) to the subway. Very safe and quiet.
