great location 2 blocks from a miles long life guard watched beach. good breakfast @ hotel clean and efficient with great bar with blue crabs to hammer and get hammered just a walk across the parking lot.

beach was walking distance, we didnt even break a sweat walking in the 90degree temp, and the area is quiet, no heavy traffic, no loud teenagers loitering around, nice block for biking/running/walking. hotel was clean and staff was pleasant and willing to help. pool was great, not too crowded for it being holiday week, pool was in a fenced area and gets good sunlight continental breakfast was okay. coffee tasted watered down. bacon was like a stick. but its free so who cares!

Location, staff, and breakfast were all terrific. We were very pleased with our stay here. The hotel and room were both clean and convenient, the bathroom was well stocked and the location near the beach was wonderful. The room felt spacious which was unexpected but very nice. The staff were super helpful and pleasant.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Bethany Beach! It's clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and they offer a complimentary breakfast! Also the hotel is within blocks from the beach!We would definitely stay here again!!

This place is located right next to the Sea Colony towers so while it is on the ocean you should ask the front desk where to go to get to the beach because you don't want to be picked up for trespassing. I've stayed here 3 times and I will recommend it to others.

The staff is GREAT at this hotel. The GM is super nice and so is all the employees I can in contact with. Breakfast is great!

My wife and I were looking for a nice hotel near the ocean in Bethany Beach, Delaware and found the Holiday Inn Express, located just three blocks from the beach. Great location and near a few restaurants. The morning continental breakfast was good but a bit crowded and the pool was clean but not enough chairs for the amount of people. The staff was friendly and helpful with dinner suggestions. There was only one computer in the lobby to use for the guests and had to wait to check email. The room was clean and overall I would recommend this hotel to a friend and would stay there again.

The staff was excellent and so was the location to other beaches and attractions. The decor was bland , but the hotel itself was clean. Should consider making it more home-like.

The holiday Inn Express in Bethany Beach,DE was very nice--large room with 2 queen sized beds,wireless internet access(free) in room, a microwave,mini-refrigerator, and coffee maker in the room. A free breakfast was included in the price. It was a very short 2 block walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to the boardwalk and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good location. No towels. Could use an indoor pool, did not have any towels and the fan in the bath did not work.
