Location to business meeting. Bathroom floor had a leak under the tile, towel on floor was wet. The room needed some repairs and the carpet had stains in front of the fridge.

I stayed in February 2008 on a internet booked prepaid night. Hotel was prepaid September 2007 fully paid. I checked in, did not show my credit card, as it was already paid for, I just signed the registration form. Imagine my surprise, upon getting back home, to find a charge on my card for extra nights ! I styaed at Richmond Va Crowne Plaza the next night!! I rang the hotel, they said they would refund my charge. After much paperwork and telephone calls, nothing, so I rang again...I was lucky enough to get the rudest person in the whole of the USA. Great, 14,000 miles away. I rang Diners Club, after a month...extra charge was deemed a rip off by the hotel. Problem solved, I got a credit...I was happy . Come June 22, 2008, I get my Diners Club bill....a 440 charge for staying on June 5 2008. I was in Vietnam at the time.......I will never stay at this hotel again. Now, going through all paperwork/calls to Diners Club again. In short....if you want to get ripped off....abused, and treated like a fool, stay here....otherwise, stay across the road at Candlewood Suites. First time I have ever had a problem with a hotel, am experienced enough to know the ropes. Th those at the Hotel, I say Get Stuffed!

The location was good and overall it was clean. This motel would be great for the business traveler, not really for a family with small children.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast but customer care is outstanding. We were not happy with our first room (noisy) but hotel was full. Front desk clerk was very accommodating. She offered us free dinner and a new room at earliest possible. My wife and I definitely will stay here again.

The front staff was exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Always smiling. Nothing. I felt that it was an excellent value. It was centrally located, decent curb appeal, nice outdoor pool. The complimentary breakfast was good with a decent variety. The front staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful and made you feel like welcome family. The rooms were nice and clean, as was the bathroom. The hotel offered amenities that I personally appreciate. Coffeemaker plus complimentary coffee and tea all day in the lobby, hairdryer, refrigerator and microwave, iron and ironing board in the room. Great shower head in the tub too. The pool was open 10 to 10 and was well maintained. Free newspaper and close to I-85 and the Duluth shopping and restaurants. I am looking forward to going back. I have stayed at two other hotels in the Duluth area and the Holiday Inn Express was at the top of the list.

The hotel and room had an odor and could use some remodel but for the price it was okay. The breakfast was good and facility was clean

Convenient, centrally located in area, have stayed there before numerous times, feel safe there. Hotel was packed 1st night, and maid service very slow. Room was not made up by 4:30 pm 2nd day. I've stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on numerous trips to Atlanta over the past 4 or 5 years with no problems. I always feel safe there. It is clean, staff friendly, rooms well decorated, and centrally located to the area with easy access to the Interstate. This is the first time staying here that room was not made up by the time we returned to the room about 4-4:30 pm.

It's closeness to our destination and good restaurants. Nice hotel in good location. Typical Holiday Inn Express. Good breakfast selection, too.
