Quick and easy to get to, I did confuse it for the other Holiday Inn a few buildings down. The room was nice. Felt safe and secure. I checked in late, so was unable to use the pool. I don't know why they don't keep it open at least till 11:00pm. I promise I'll keep quiet. The pool looked nice and clean. The lady at the front desk was very friendly.

When we got there, we found dried blood on the bedsheets and pubic hair in the bathroom tub. We reported this immediately to the front desk & we got an "attitude" from the girl working the front desk. She said "sorry" & proceeded to move us to another room. When we asked if the manager would be notified of this, she said "I'm moving you to another room. What else do you want?" My husband spoke to another person working the front desk (the next day) and got the same type of reply. Would never stay here again, because they acted like it was "no big deal" to have blood on your sheets & pubic hair all over the bathroom. TERRIBLE customer service & ZERO hospitality. The free continental breakfast was great - it was the ONLY good thing about this hotel.

the hotel was nice, but there was someones hair in the hair dryer, and there were signs everywhere saying to "remove all valuables from cars" which gave the impression that there was an ongoing security problem in the parking area.

The staff is extremely friendly! The hotel is located geographically close to the airport but, it's location on a ramp makes it difficult to access many of the local highways.

This was a weekend trip to Sea World and staying here at the Holiday Inn was great. Its only 10 minutes away from Sea World and isnt far from the River Walk either. The service here is great and the price really impressed us. This hotel is a great stay for a few days. The breakfast is delicious and is always ready to serve. But one thing that I must add is for you to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They only provide one small bottle of each per day and is not very good for your hair. Overall I approve this hotel for a great comfortable stay.

The hotel room was comfortable and quiet. The beds were not sway-backed, which is important because both of us have bad backs. The only negative is that the coffee urn was empty, and was not promply refilled.

Staff was friendly and they had a shuttle from the airport. Dark dingy. It was alright for an overnight stay but not longer.

My stay at this hotel was a pleasant experience, and I would go back. The front desk staff were helpful; one of them ordered a taxi for me when the hotel shuttle couldn't take me to my destination. As for the room in which I stayed, on the plus side it was spacious and clean; negatively, the room and bed linens had a musty odor that could use some freshening, there was also some plastering on the bathroom ceiling that needed to be covered up, and the furniture needed some updating. Finally, to end on a positive note, the free breakfast was great! There was much to choose from (and this is not a complete list): toast, cereal (4 kinds), english muffins, bacon, yogurt, various kinds of juices and coffee flavors. Even though the hotel is about a 5 minute drive from the airport, I wasn't jolted by the rumbling noises of planes nearby; my suite was quiet and peaceful.

The staff was very friendly with comfortable beds. The parking. We liked the friendly staff and service. Also the beds were clean and very comfortable.

Came in about 2 AM staff was waiting on us. Room ready for bed. Breakfast was very good and free. Heard no noise sleep great. Good location we went to sea world one day and the next day river walk hotel right in the middle. A+++

The Holiday Inn Express Airport location was the perfect location for me to fly in and out of San Antonio and having a meeting in the interim at the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The printer in the business office didn't work and the front desk invited me to use their computer and printer to print my boarding pass for the next day. The room was clean and neat, and the facilities were very accommodating.

Total package with shows, cafe, restaurants, casino & friendly helpful staff. This hotel more than met our expectations, it was at a great location on the strip, the cafe food was excellent and the staff was friendly & helpful.

What I thought might be a boring hotel turned out to be a nice, clean, quite room with a great bed and pretty bathroom. As a woman I travel alot and have a limited budget. Holiday Inn Express provided a nice breakfast, a fitness room and happy hour to relax after a long day.

The Holiday Inn Express San Antonio was under renovation the dates that we stayed here. Luckily we were gone during the day so we did not have to hear the jack hammering that went on probably most of the day. One morning I woke up to a crane basket with men painting outside our window! Our TV did not work one evening and the front desk either did not have a maintenance person available or did not request one. We finally realized the next day that it was the outlet that was the problem- something must have been damaged during the construction. Except for this incident the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Our room was clean and comfortable. I thought that the price for the hotel was expensive for the area. We were in San Antonio for a conference that provided a shuttle bus to downtown so we did not have a car, but if this was not the case one would definitely need a car for this location to do anything. The hotel shuttle was available to the hotel and the nearby mall. One shuttle driver was incredibly rude.

Good location, but no fridge. Did not have a fridge. Would be excellent if it had a small refrigerator.
