My husband and I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Airport in Evansville twice, and both times it was a positive experience. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. Since we travel with my elderly father, it is important to us that we have easy access to our rooms from the parking area, and our first-floor rooms were conveniently located. The rooms themselves were comfortable and clean, although the air conditioning units were noisy. We enjoyed our visit to the city, and won't rule out the possibility of returning again.

It was somewhat clean and the staff was friendly. The bathroom was very claustrophobic. You could not sit on the toilet and have the door shut. The hotel was alright for the amount of money spent, but I do not think I would stay here again. The level of comfort was less than I would have expected. The beds were hard and the linens smelled a little funky. The staff was friendly though. The bathroom was very small. The toilet was jammed up against the wall and, being a bigger person, I could not have the door shut while I was sitting. There was also hair in the bottom of the tub.

The hotel was a little run down being that it is an older hotel. However, the rooms were very nice and clean as well as the hallways, front desk, resturant, pool area, and the surrounding outside area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast offered was great! Buffet style! There is an outdoor play area for the kids. The pool was very well maintained. It did not have a strong chlorine odor and was clean around the tables. i would recommend this hotel to anyone! Have fun!

We were there to renew our vows and celebrate our anniversary. From the start they gave us problems about not having a suite for us after I had called twice to confirm! I was in a wheelchair which created many problems. One, their important information regarding using debit cards was up too high for someone in a wheelchair to see, and they had these among other stuff that was just tourist information. Pool is not handicapped accessible either, so big deal it is the biggest ... it doesn't matter if you can't get in it!! The suite was just an extension of the bedroom. No divider between bedroom and living room area. Only one television in living room area, hard to see from bed. Oh, and the housekeeping came in and only made the bed, not picking up anything nor giving us more toilet paper! We had to ask for it. I could go on and on ... we wanted to relax and have a drink before dinner, and the bar only holds like 6 people, and again is not wheelchair accessible. The only good thing about it was that the dining room had good food at somewhat reasonable prices. I would pass on this hotel. We are going up again, and we will definately not be staying at that hotel.

Attendants at front desk were not helpfull with acquiring a roll away bed for our son. Thier was no one attending kids at pool area in the evening. Kids about 1o to 14 years of age were diving pushing and causing trouble. Two adults asked them to stop pushing other smaller kids and obey the posted rules. They ignored adults and kept on doing what they wanted. Where is securtiy, the kids parents were drinking and playing cards. This hotel is very unsfe for smaller children. And the hot tub was burning some kids eyes. There were 16 kids in the hot tub at one time. Hotel owners should have someone walk through thier hallway every lhour to check on what is going on. The guest registration personnel were dressed very sloppy and thier clothes looked like they slept in them. Who wears flip flops to work! Attendants Do

The hotel room was very nice but the bathroom is very tiny, very much like a small hall closet. The room we stayed in did have a mini fridge and microwave. It looks like the rooms have been updated in decor. The pool was very inviting and very large for a hotel. The breakfast buffet had a great variety to choose from. Overall I would stay here again.

Nice bed and pillow. No food delivery to room. Large complex and a long walk. Breakfast buffet was cold. Room was nice. Bathroom/tub kit was cheap with standing water. Few things nice like breakfast & 1 hr of long distance.

I just stayed one night. This hotel offered terrific value for the money. I especially liked the free morning hot buffet breakfast. The room was clean and the staff was courteous.

property needs updating; A/C and bathroom fans are noisy, door was hard to open. also had fire alarm go off early one morning for no apparent reason.

The room was well decorated. The bathroom was smaller than my closet at home. The front desk staff was not very friendly. We were placed in a room in the back of the hotel where parking was space, there were several semi-trucks parked in this area. The room was nicely decorated, but the bathroom was extremely small, smaller than an average sized closet.

This is an older hotel, but well maintained. They have added extra ammenities like microwaves and refrigerators in every room. It was nice to have a guest laundry that I didn't have to pay for. I have stayed at many hotels for my business travels, and have found that this one rates top notch. The staff was very friendly and the owners are on property. The grandson even checked us into our rooms and was inquisitive to our needs while we were in town. Now that's impressive. The beds were so comefortable. I ordered one and it was shipped directly to my door. I will be sure to stay at this hotel when I am in Evansville.

Quietness, clean, easy to reach, family friendly and nice for the money. Check out time. I think it is a good hotel but rate was a little steep for the location.

"We stayed in this hotel last week 7/1/07. We showed up @ 5 and room was still not ready even though check-in was @ 3. Pool is great, no elevator in this hotel that we found which made it a little hard with suitcases and children. Room was nice, bathroom very small. Close to mall area & airport. No noise from airport or road that we noticed.Overall good experience."

The Holiday Inn EVANSVILLE-CONFERENCE CENTER was a nice hotel. The pool was wonderful. During our stay there was a lot of teenagers there too. I guess it must have been a basketball team. They kept the hot tub very occupied where no one else could enjoy it. At night they where allowed to run up and down the halls. I called to the front desk to try and get it taken care of. I was told that something would be done. The teenagers continued to be very loud and using cuss words. My children where in the room trying to sleep. This started about 12:00 AM and around 1:30 AM nothing had still been done. Finallly about 2:030 AM my husband had enough! He told one of the teenagers to tell his friends to stop the running and cussing. He explained to them that we was trying to sleep since about 12:00 AM and that they need to show some respect. When you go to a hotle to try and relax you do not want to havt to put up with this. I was upset that the staff would not take care of this issue. They should have said something to the person incharge of these tennagers.

Beautiful Pool area! Air conditioner had to be replaced. I very much enjoyed this hotel, especially the very large heated pool! This only downfall that we had was that our air conditioner was not cooling the room, but after a quick call to the front desk the unit was replaced within 10 minutes, very good maintenance department!

Holiday Inn EVANSVILLE-CONFERENCE CENTER, EVANSVILLE, IN This hotel was a great place to stay. I found that the staff were very friendly and willing to assist me in all my needs. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The cleaning staff made sure the rooms were very attractive. The surrounding area had many places to eat within walking or driving range.

Pool. Had trouble checking in. I had reservations for 3:00 and they told me my room was not ready. I checked backed a few minutes later and they told me they did not have any rooms. I guess I would still be setting on that couch had I not kept on them.
