The hotel seemed satisfactory in most respects, but I was not able to really notice what may have been good about it since I had to spend so much of my time struggling with a very poor internet connection. I run into hotels every so often in my travels (which are extensive) that seem to contract with the absolute cheapest internet service possible, resulting in nothing but headaches for their patrons. After calling the 800 number specified for help with the wireless internet, I spent 45 minutes talking to someone who did not speak very comprehendible English. Once I was able to connect, the connection speed was so slow, I spent several hours to accomplish work that should have taken me 60 minutes.

The hotel is very clean and in a very convenient location. Our dog had to sleep in the van. This was a clean and family-friendly hotel. It was very quiet the night we stayed.

We paid 109 for a double queen room and really, it was fine. Our first room had some problems, so the friendly staff moved us right away. They renovated in 2002 I think and you can tell it's still a nasty old hotel that's been given a bit of a facelift. They've upgraded the bed linens and pillows so it doesn't feel like a chincy room. Bathrooms were nice and clean, but still old hardware on the tub/sink and it shows. Overall, the shining star of this hotel is the friendly staff, which is wonderful. I'd stay here again because of that, but nothing else would really be wooing me back.

The hotel was good. The food was good. The price was over good. I have the same thing or better at a hotel not so high in rates.

Nice bar and restaurant.

Everything that I asked for was either gotten for me immediately or in a very timely fashion. The front desk at the hotel is very professional and courteous. The Green Mill has a good selection of food and drink to choose from which makes it a nice place tostay when traveling far from home.

Two great queen beds with 4 super pillows each. Super comfort. Nice fridge and microwave. The pool temperature was too warm. Pool was a distance to get to, but that's being picky. Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, with nothing really lacking for comfortable. Very accommodating!

Me and my two girls went to the hotel for a girls weekend it was great very realxing the pool is awesome the food in the green mill is excellent and my two children ate for free because they were under 12 and this is a standard procedure for them I guess. Went shopping and had a great time doing this as well. If you are going for a family getaway for a weekend this is an excellent place to stay a friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make this place worthwhile

There was prompt, courteous service. We forgot a toothbrush and I called to the desk for a complimentary one. The person at the desk was very courteous and said it would be a few minutes. Our room was at the far end of the hotel and I thought it would be about ten or fifteen minutes, but it was less than five. I was impressed.

The staff at the counter, both at check in and check out, were very friendly. When checking out the clerk was carrying some breakfast items from behind the counter but when he saw me approaching he put the items down and immediately returned to the counter to assist me.There were two computors in the lobby available to check E-Mails and news/football scores.

Real nice hotel and the food was great at the green meal. Dryer didn't work and the treadmills didn't work. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. The Green Mill restaurant was great. I m on the road about 90% of the time and when the washer and dryer do not work properly its a pain to find a laundry mat. The dryer didn't work. The treadmills need updated. Other than that it was great.

The non smoking rooms are across the hall from smoking accommodations, the halls reek of smoke. Dirty bathroom vent, hairs on the bathroom floor, stained chair, carpet also had a stain and some popcorn kernels. When checking in the guest in front of me was saying his room was unacceptable. When I checked out the staff was apologizing to another guest saying they would look into it. Staff very pleasant but the facilities are not up to Holiday Inn standards

Very comfortable, clean, and helpful staff. If you didn't want to leave the hotel the restaurant and fitness center where decent. My hotel room was facing the Toyota dealership and the Taco Bell. So you had to deal with the night and morning of the noise of them. Over all for the price I was very happy. The room was nice and clean. It is great for the business traveler. It had everything that you need in the hotel. If you could avoid staying on the back side of the hotel I would. You get loud cars from the Taco Bell and Mc Donald's at night. Then in the morning you get traffic from the Toyota service customers parking in the hotel parking lot. Basically, they think that it's Toyota's parking lot not the Hotel's. Over all I would stay there again and had a great experience.

"We stayed here just for the pool and resturant but there was a huge amount of high school kids staying because of a sporting event. The pool was constantly crowded and so we weren't able to enjoy it during our stay. Breakfast could have been better. The have the Green Mill resturant there which was great, even room service."

This hotel really superceded our expectations! Great bedding and mattresses, good coffee, and a very "new" appearance. No complaints. We felt very comfortable at this hotel. I was impressed with the lobby, and the beds were very, very comfortable - something that is hard to come by these days in all hotels.

"Great place, upgraded and well maintained. Easy to get to off of the Interstate with several restaurants nearby. Friendly staff!"

Had a Green Mill attached. Shower head too low. Housekeeping woke me up at 8:30am on a Saturday morning! This hotel is probably one of the best hotels in Eau Claire, but that isn't saying much. There's a Green Mill attached, which I didn't go to, and a Starbucks sort of on the other side of the street. My room was in a high traffic area and was very noisy in the morning. Housekeeping got started early on a Saturday morning waking me up. The bed and pillows were very firm. I'm a tall guy and the shower head was very low. Basically, if I wasn't so hammered the night before, I would have rather drove back to Minnesota.

"stuck my handicapped mother way at end of hotel. She can not walk more than 25 feet but we were told that is where ""handicapped"" rooms are. Yes, we had asked for handicapped rooms. "

Convenient location, good restaurant. Bathroom was small. Good for business travel. It suited our needs for the occasion.

I like everything about this hotel and it was a wonderful getaway. I can't think of anything. This hotel is beautiful and comfortable and located ideally in a safe part of the city, close to everything.
