The Holiday Inn Shreveport/Bossier was very uncomfortable. The room was small and very old. It has a strange smell that never went away. The hotel is located next to railroad tracks and all hours of the night trains were passing by (3:30 in the morning). I will never go back!

Very convenient. Nice room. Clean. Very slow elevators. Train tracks nearby. Hotel is older from the outside, but rooms have been updated and are clean. Very nice on the inside. Pool area is nice, but not very large. Short distance from gaming boats, Sam's Town & El Dorado, but not within walking distance. Cabs are $5 one way. Train tracks are next to the hotel and the train comes through all night.

Hotel is located next to railroad tracks and trains were very noisy. Bathroom is very small. Water would not drain out of the tub. There was mold and mildew. I refused to shower in it.

The hotel was clean and close to a couple of the casinos. It was very close to train tracks the hotel offered to move us to other side of hotel if the sound was to much...we didn't move.

had read negative reviews and almost didn't chose this hotel. It was great, view of red river and casinos and shuttle service always there when we needed them. We went on weekend so we paid more than the average rate listed. The trains were mentioned in other reviews. You can hear them and if trains bother you choose another hotel. I grew up hearing trains so I didn't mind it a couple times a night. Any hotel close to the casinos would also be within hearing distance of train since it goes across the river in that area.

That is about all I can say about the stay. We got NO rest staying at this hotel. There isn't anything in walking distance that you are willing to walk in 94 degree weather. The staff were very nice and polite. The room was overall clean. The bed was very uncomfortable and the lay out of the hotel was very odd and you had to do quite a bit of walking. The elevators stayed so busy most of the time you had to take the stairs. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.

It was in close proximity to the freeway. The rooms stunk and the River view we were supposed to get overlooked railroad tracks. The trains ran all hours of the day, even the early morning. The hotel was in a good location, near the freeway. I had to change rooms because the room they gave stunk so bad. They were very courteous about letting me change, no questions asked. The room that we did end up staying in was allot smaller than the first room. It was supposed to have a River view, and did not. Also, their were trains running at all hours of the day that kept us up at night. And, our room stunk too, just not as bad as the first one. Plus, the bathroom was small.

The tub was horrible; wouldn't drain fast and by the time you were done with shower, you were ankle deep in water. WORST OF ALL is that there are railroad tracks next to/below the hotel and you can't sleep at night. The hotel actually provides you with COMPLIMENTARY ear plugs!!!! HA!!! Finally, we were late checking out because we couldn't sleep that night because of the freakin trains and the housekeeping staff was very very rude to us. Ghetto rude. I'll never go to this hotel ever again.

We arrived and were checked in pretty quick, it could have been faster but there were alot of customers and only 2 employees behind the desk. Other than that the staff was very friendly and polite. All of them were very upbeat. The lobby is beautiful and very clean as well as the bathrooms. Our room was in excellent condition as well as clean and had everything in place and was very instructfull on how to get items that we had forgotten. The hotel was located close to restaurants and casinos. We walked to Samstown and Eldorado. Also you can walk alongside the river through a pretty little walk way with fountains and greenery. The science center was also close by and the hotel had easy access to main road that would take you to more attractions or restaurants. We were very pleased with this choice and will definately return for another stay!

Weight room and cleaning staff was great. No complimentary breakfast for the price and 4th floor needs to be rebuilt. Not ever going to stay in that hotel again. Hotel was in a great location being right on the river and 5 min drive from boardwalk but poor and almost depressing view. Room was not what I expected for the price, Ive stayed in rooms that cost 1/3 of that one and was twice the room. Entire 4th floor needs refurbishing.

Very nice, but extremely noisy. Not from doors slamming or elavators, but from adjacent train tracks, interstate, downtown concerts, etc. They offer ear plugs, a clue, a clue. Breakfast is not included in price.

Rooms where clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was not working and the Train tracks where right next to our room and no parking. The Good: Rooms where clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Very close to several casino's. The Bad: Pool was not working and the Train tracks where right next to the hotel and the parking is terrible.

This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in. There was hair everywhere, on the sheets embedded in the towels, on the floor, in the bathroom. Our first room had a huge stain on the bedspread and the coffee machine was missing the carafe, so they changed my room. I swear this was the most gross hotel ever! they need to CLEAN.

The location was great for where I needed to be the next morning. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner. Looked as though the carpets had not been vacuumed. Location was great, front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice but could have been a little cleaner.

Close to convention center. Rain leaked through air conditioner-leaking into my bag. I had to request 3 times for the water to be vaccumed up. Shower wouldn't drain. Room service had NO PIZZA! Hallways smelled. Most employees very nice.

The lobby was very pretty and clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Our room was next to the elevator, could've been cleaner, a bit small for the price. With the price and the name Holiday Inn, I expected more. Our room was right beside the elevators, (really noisy) which wasn't working some of the time. One day the cleaning lady didn't even clean our room, and the room was on the small size for a king, the restroom was really small. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Recent stay in Feb was better than a few years ago. Frint desk was friendly & helpful. Room was large & clean. Bathroom was very clean. Only issue was only one elevator working when I arrived but that was later fixed. Ice & Coke machines weren't working but only minor inconevnience.Location was great. Shuttle service was good to casinos but El Dorado & Sam's Town are within walking district as well as Red River Entertainment District. I will definetley stay at this location again.

"We reserved as a corporate group. Nothing was correct. We reserved for 10 king rooms and 3 doubles with names specific for each room. None were correct, conference room was not set up correctly nor did the sales group provide accurate info to hotel restaurant for breakfast meeitn. very noisy, bad security, no manager available. No recommendation for this hotel."
