Saw the 4th of July fireworks across the street from the hotel. Good location to access restaraunts and shops.

Close to ships and shopping and food. Room had no view and was small. Room was small, room looked old, but was well taken care of. AC only worked on the high setting, but was OK to keep the room nice.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the Port of Miami. There is only a small fenced in hotel parking lot (approx. 25 cars & parking fee is required) in the back so we had to park in the lot next door. the parking fee was $6.50 and it is unsecured. My family and I did not get a good nights sleep as there was a lot of road noise and police activity.

We booked the room to be close to the port as we were leaving the next day on a cruise. The hotel room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It is across the street from the Bayside Shopping Center. It has many ethnic restaurant choices. I would highly recommend for cruisers who need an extra night in MIami.

I had a room with an excellent view overlooking the Port of Miami and Bongos resturant. The hotel stored my luggage after checkout while I ran to CVS one block away before going to the cruise ship. Taxis are $12 to the Port of Miami from the hotel. I paid $12 parking per day at the hotel.

Good location. Clean room. Convenience for cruise travelers. We used this hotel before cruising departure from Port of Miami. Although when booking a room online there were no available nonsmoking king or queen room, upon my request on checking-in they could arrange changing our room to nonsmoking king room. Accommodation was good enough for me and my wife. Some rooms do not have ocean view, - of course one of which we were assigned. ComplimentaryWiFi was available in rooms and the lobby, which was useful when waiting departure time of a cruise ship. No free breakfast. Their laundry room has only two wash machines and two dryers. It costs around four backs for one laundry cycle. I have no idea there are any other laundries nearby. Bay side Marketplace, fun for just strolling, locates across a street.

This was an good place to stay the night before our cruise. We enjoyed the view from our window of the cruise ship piers. The Bayside Marketplace was just across the street, and had plenty of places to eat and shop. We would definitely stay there again.

Close location to downtown. The hotel was very vanilla. This hotel was in a great location in downtown Miami, however it was a very vanilla hotel. The sink in my bathroom only had scorching hot water.

Great place to prepare to leave on a cruise. Less than 1 mile from the Seaport. The hotel was nice, clean, and comfortable. The room met our needs for 6, two queen beds and a sofa sleeper.

Five of us spent the night before leaving on a cruise. The room was spacious enough with two beds and a sofa bed. It is directly across the street from the bayside market which was a nice place and I believe the only place within walking distance to hang out. Upon check in there were three pizza ad's under the door. About midnight the kids(ages between 18 and 21) wanted pizza. My mistake was not to ask what the delivery charges were. The $11.50 pizza turned out to be $23.00. It would be nice if the hotel would recommend places that are good and places that are not so good. Again, my mistake for not asking. Kids said the pizza was good though. Check out was easy and hotel held out luggage until it was time to leave for the ship.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for two nights before our cruise. Although the room was pretty small it was just fine for two who don't stay in the room much anyway. Hotel staff was friendly and it was a short cab ride to South Beach and the cruise terminal. Directly across the street are shops and restaurants so that made it convienent as well. We would stay again if going on a cruise from Miami.

Location to shopping. Noise from other travelers at night. This is an older hotel and has very little on site parking. The rooms were okay and I would recommend it again.

The only bad thing about this hotel is that you have to pay for parking! We we were there 3 days and paid an extra $24 for parking. I would think it would be included and was never told we would have to pay.

Convenient shopping across the street and to cruise line. No shuttle from airport. Excellent location to cruise lines and shopping.
