I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at The Holiday Inn. We just needed a place to sleep for one night on our way to Florida. When I entered the lobby, I couldn't believe how nice it was. I have stay at many 4 and 5 star hotels, and it ranked right up there. The room was larger than expected and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the towels were nice and fluffy! Not like those cheap, thin and scratchy towels you get elsewhere.

Two friends and I stayed here prior to our cruise. The staff was wonderful, friendly, helpful and made you fell comfortable. The room was everything we needed, the beds were so comfortable. I would definitely stay again and refer other friends to do the same.

My business booked the hotel, and this is not your average Holiday Inn. The rooms are HUGE and everything is so new. The fitness center is one of the best I have seen in a hotel in quite a while. The free wireless and parking made my controller happy, and you can't beat the proximity to Dauphin St, where the nightlife is located. The staff was incredible, and everyone was so attentive during our meeting. This is the the only hotel I will stay at while in Mobile, and I could not believe the low cost of the room, and the fridge and microwave were so nice to have during the week. TIP: Check out the 17th floor lounge...best view of the city!!!

I did not have a single complaint during my stay. I was there for the GMAC Football Bowl game and even with the large crwd, the staff was at the top of its' game.The manager never seemed to leave the lobby and was available at all times. The rooms were roomy and clean. Towels were a delight to use and not paper thin.

This was a great hotel that went beyond our expectations for the price. Clean roomy rooms. Comfortable beds. Restaurant in the Lobby. Grand entrance lobby. Very friendly staff. Had to wait a few minutes to check in as there were guests checking in ahead of me with 6 rooms. The desk clerk apologized for the wait and offered us a cool drink on the house. (Love that Southern Hospitality!) A very enjoyable stay.

If I would have waited until the day of ball, there might not have been a room, but I would have gotten for over a 100.00 cheaper like all mine friends did. I felt like I was totally ripped off, and after asking the manager why all my friends got their room so much cheaper I was blown off. Great location, but terrible customer service.

HI Downtown Mobile is superbly located in the heart of downtown, a short walk to the museum, Exploreum and Civic Center. The unique design (round) of the hotel makes the guest rooms expansive and interesting. The restaurant is more than adequate, the food excellent, and the service somewhat slow. The lounge on the 17th (top) floor is outstanding with amiable staff and exceptional 360 degree views of Mobile and the surrounding area. My only complaint about this hotel is that the parking for guests is a challlenge. There are not enough spaces in the parking lot and on-street parking can be expensive during the week. There is a parking garage ($7. per day) across the road.

The Holiday Inn has been recently renovated, and is simply beautiful! The service was top notch and the view od downtown Mobile was nice! All rooms have fridge and microwave! Mardi Gras was GREAT and the MYSTIC STRIPERS SOCIETY are the best!

The location was great. The parking is too small for a hotel of this size. It is a unique hotel in that it is shaped like a cylinder. It does help with room size as they expand as you go towards the outside wall. It is clean, comfortable and close to the Convention Center. A good, solid hotel.

The staff was so rude, we were over-charged and the air-conditioner barely worked. We were so hot and there was no thermostat in the room. Bathroom in lobby was scary!

It was close to everywhere that I needed to be. I left my $200 electric razor behind and they said that they never found it. Who wants someone's used razor? Especially without the charger for it. Overall, it was a good experience except the fact that housekeeping stole my electric razor even though I called about 30 minutes after checkout. I subsequently called another 4 times throughout the weekend and they either would transfer me to a number that no one answered or said they take a note. Not one person made an attempt to ask around about it.

Friendly service and great advice on the local activities. Limited parking. Great service, clean rooms and always there when you need any assistance. Helpful in suggesting local activities as well. Parking is limited.

Nice club with a great view of the city. Not enough non smoking rooms. Great location, nice facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Had a wonderful experience. Would stay there again.

It was located near the concert we attended. It was hard to find at first, we missed the sign. The hotel was great even if we were only there to sleep, very upscale. I was impressed by the staff. The only problem I have is that the price I paid on line was more then the price on the receipt I received from the hotel when we checked out. Why is that?
