We stayed at this hotel during the July 4th Holiday and couldn't have asked for a better stay. Shuttle is offered to take you to down town and will pick you up when ever you call. Given the holiday weekend traffic in downtown kept us waiting a bit but so worth the wait. Room had BEAUTIFUL Granite counter tops and was sparking clean and smelled fresh. Cannot wait to stay again.

It was clean and the staff was nice and helpful. It was not near the airport like Priceline led me to believe.

I picked a non-smoking room but while walking towards my room on the 4th floor it smells like smoke all the way to my door. The room was clean and comfortable but all night and day you can hear sirens, which made me feel unsafe. The bath sink is really tiny and was separated from the toilet and shower. OMG, after I took my 1st shower the water did not even drain down. I am never going back.

Driving in off of the 710 freeway we were about ready to turn around. You drive thru the hood. It got better as we traveled east. The hotel is very safe, clean and inviting. The rooms are large and very well maintained. The grounds are neat and clean. Very close to a harbor. Great restaurants. Some family entertainment - bowling, movies, games works and the aquarium. The best part is that there is a free shuttle to almost anywhere, til 11pm. Kia at the front desk was great. Will stay here again

Barking dogs outside the window. Great place.

Although the hotel is not inexpensive, it is easy to find, quiet; the room was large, bathroom and bedroom clean and pleasant. (Scanning the possibilities on TV) I mistakenly ORDERED a movie I didn't want to watch, I mentioned it to the desk person the next morning checking out. She kindly excused the fee. When my laptop wifi connection was laborious, the front desk suggested several solutions until I managed the connection. It was a satisfying visit.l

I have never been to long beach and didn't know what to expect. Always have good luck with Holiday Inns and booked. So happy to have choosen this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and clean in every way. The veiw was fantastic of Signal Hill and neighborhood was clean and quiet. There are many places to visit nearby and we had a great time! You will be happy with this hotel.

The room was very comfortable. The staff, very friendly. My room was very clean. It was a great hotel. The only negatives I had were temporary. The ice maker was not working on my floor and the shuttle van was in for repairs for part of my stay. They should have made other arrangements for another van, as I was counting on the van, and had to pay for a few taxis while I was there.

Clean room andfree parking. The location was great and close to downtown. Free underground parking is a big plus. We stayed on the fourth floor, had a very clean room, but the hallway smelled real bad like old cigarette smoke. Pool was small and real cold, even though it was supposed to be heated. The jacuzzi was nice.

This hotel was good not great for us. It was convenient to our other activities in Long Beach, however, it turned out to be in a not that great section of town. We selected this hotel initially based on price (low) and street address. Room was moderately cared for and cleaned. We were on the fourth floor and there were loud noises outside throughout the night (cars, people, etc.) . Room Service breakfast was barely edibile, hopefully it was just an off day for them.

We stayed here to check out the location prior to going on a cruise in Febuary. Once you to to the hotel it was ok, sort of, but don't venture out unless you have a thing for strippers, hookers and crack heads. The area was defiatley scary after dark. Once we checnked in we staed in the room. Frond desk was less than amused with my fears on gang wars.

I was there for 2 nights on business. First, my key card didn't work so I had to tote my luggage with me back to the lobby. Then I noticed a window open on a busy street, but the crank was broken so I couldn't shut it. The front desk sent up maintenance but, after 15 minutes of trying, declared it unfixable. A call to the front desk resulted in a room change about 15 minutes later. Then it turned out that the ice machine for my floor was broken. Another guest showed up with his ice bucket and said the only one working was 2 floors up. Plus it takes a really, really long time to get any warm/hot water. By the time I finally got settled, it was only about an hour before I needed to go to sleep. Fortunately, the next night I only had to deal with the ride up to the working ice machine and semi-warm water and, otherwise, enjoyed the hotel. It is very clean and comfortable but I'd say upkeep is not keeping up with general appearances.

The bed was VERY comfortable. Slept very well! Shuttle service left us stranded for about 45 minutes. Room was nice. Looked recently renovated. The bed was outstanding and the pillow menu was a nice touch. Air conditioner was a little noisy and the TV reception was very poor. But overall, very pleased. The receptionist who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had very good food and service. The LB Con. Ctr. is too far of a walk so we had looked forward to using shuttle service to save on parking fees. But the shuttle left us stranded for about 45 minutes our first night there. We ended up using our own car and paying for parking the rest of the trip.

This hotel was clean, but had a bad smell of smoke as we came out of the elevator on our floor, we had 2 rooms, both non smoking, one of them smelled of smoke. Other than that our stay was great, the shuttle was available each time we needed it, takes you anywhere in a 3 mile radius and you can just phone and they will pick you up. Very comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and good air-con in both rooms. Cleaning staff were very accommodating and would come and clean our rooms late if we wanted to sleep in. Would stay there again.

Very clean hotel and convenient location. Underground parking at the hotel provided an added sense of security. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room at the front of the hotel, as there is a dog that barked the first night, but we were on the 4th floor so it was not much of a problem with the fan on.

The location and the free shuttle service. The restaurant service was horrible. Very slow and unorganized!

I made reservations. Upon arrival, the only rooms available were rooms located in an area where they were renovating. Walls covered in plastic, strong paint smell and dust everywhere. Also the shuttle was suspiciously having mechanical problems.

We liked the size and comfort of the room. The Hotel was located near the center of Long Beach and easy to find and get to. Enjoyed the breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

It was close to where I wanted to be for my trip. Had to go to 4th floor from 2nd to get ice. Staff was friendly and restaurant was moderately priced.
