Date of Stay: June, 2009

I went Buffalo for conference and sightseeing in Niagra falls. The hotel room is large, comfortable and clean; the service good and generally helpful and friendly. The location is near Allentown, and with metro station only one or two blogs away. It only takes 20 minutes walk to the other side of downtown. So I consider it very convenient! Only one minor things is that the hairdryer smells. So, I used mine! I will choose it again if I have chances to visit this area and certainly would recommend it to my friends!

Great airport shuttle driver, Don. Full of wonderful tidbits about the history of Buffalo. Recommended excellent restaurant and gave us a quick education. Loved the fact that the hotel is in walking distance to food (great lobster), art galleries, and museums.

It was convenient to Niagara Falls. Was not very quiet. It was in downtown Buffalo and there was a Walgreens next door. It was also within walking distance of several restaurants but we did not do any of that. We only went to Niagara Falls so I can not say very much.

Isn't a hotel in the business of selling you a good night's sleep?Staff was unwilling or unable to keep other guests quiet. 4 a.m. is a bit late to be bring in cases of beer and slamming doors while moving from room to room. At 5:30 a.m they were still at it.Calls to the front desk did not bring peace and quiet.On the other hand,if you love to party this could be the hotel for you.

We went to Buffalo for the BIlls game but we made a weekend out of it so we could head up to Canada for the falls. We arrived fairly late Friday night and had no issues at all checking in, the front desk was very accommodating when we requested a specific room type (even though they were sold out) and very pleasantly answered all of our questions and provided directions to the local attractions.Let's face it some Holiday Inn's can be sketchy but when we got to our room I was surprised to see not only a nice clean room but a pillow menu too!! We didn't spend too much time in our room but they were clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I couldn't have asked for much more based on the price, location and busy opening season weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful and though we did not eat in the restaurant I was surprised there was one as well as a fitness center, business center, cocktail lounge...much more than I expected based on previous Holiday Inn stays. The location is very convenient to Buffalo attractions as well as Niagara Falls...both NY and Canada. This Holiday Inn exceeded my expectations which were based on previous Holiday Inn stays.

Quick Check in. A little out of the downtown core but not too bad. Great value when using Priceline. I liked the 12pm check out and staff was helpful.

We needed to stay here due to it's location in downtown Buffalo. I was prepared to hold my nose and get through it based on my stay 10 years ago. But, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was courteous, and the restaurant was pleasant with a modest menu. It was so nice to have parking without hassle...a rarity in a downtown city location. We have to come to Buffalo again, and plan to stay here.

This Holiday Inn was nice to stay in. I really appreciated the friendliness and how accomodating the staff was. I did not have any transportation but there was a bus stop right by the hotel and the staff was helpful in getting the schedule. I came for the Buffalo Bills football game & they took me to the bus station so I could catch a bus from there to the game. Also appreciated the airport shuttle service.

The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom could have been more clean, and no screen in the window. I was surprised with the hotel being a Holiday Inn, its more upscale then the ones I have stayed in the past. The rooms were clean, bed was super comfortable and we had a great view of part of the Buffalo downtown sky line.

The restaurant, great food! Holiday Inn, for me, just doesn't feel like a 3 star hotel. I don't like Holiday Inn's hotel.

The Holiday Inn on Delaware in Buffalo was very centrally located. I could get up early in the morning and take a long walk to Delaware Park or go to the Elmwood section of Buffalo to browse through the shops. We were pleasantly surprized every morning to find two newspapers waiting for us at the door. There was also coffee available(many different flavor choices) at no cost. The staff was extremely friendly and even knew our names as they wished us a nice day as we left the building each morning. My only complaint was that there was a family reunion at the hotel while we were there. We were in the same area of the hotel as the family and they partied until 3 o'clock in the morning keeping us up. Besides that, it was a most enjlyable stay.

Great room, large comfortable bed, staff was helpful, and great location. Our first downtown Buffalo stay, we tend to stay further out for the parking. This hotel made it an even more enjoyable trip. Free parking downtown, within walking distance for us from the HSBC! Staff answered questions and mapped places for us, wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Holiday Inn BUFFALO-DOWNTOWN, BUFFALO, NY was really roomy and had a great view of Buffalo! I would say it was money well spent staying here.

Location in respect to downtown events. Customer service. It seems we were treated like second class customers from one gentleman in particular at the hotel. I was traveling with a friend and when we saw the room had a queen bed and a pull out, we returned to the lobby to ask for a room with two beds. The hotel was nice but, they could improve there customer service.

maybe this is average for a holiday inn, and since i've never stayed in one, or a standard chain hotel in the united states. so, will i be returning to this holiday inn? hopefully not.

I loved the nice comfy beds and the fact that they had an area with computers, internet and a printer. The lobby was a bit chilly when using the computer. Nice, downtown location with very comfortable beds. Steps to the very famouse Anchor Bar. Staff was very friendly and extrememly accomodating.
