The staff was very friendly. The hotel was in a great location, near many restaurants. We went to Red Rocks to see a show & it was nice to have a short drive after the concert. Next time we are out at Red Rocks we will definitely stay here.

Nice pool area. Noisy in the room, steamed up old windows. Will not stay there again.
Date of Stay:

Old building with broken/rusted concrete steps, noise echos in interior courtyards, did not seem clean, door had dried spit on it, hallway smelled of smoke (I had a non-smoking room), musty pillows, sheets were clean, nice size room, newer furnishings, scalding hot water. Very 70's and in need of a complete remodel.
Date of Stay:

Didn't get new towels or trash emptied or beds made until we complained on the last day. Lot's of food on the buffet but the food was cold and blah. Bar closed at 10p on the weekends. A couple of the staff were good but most we short and unhelpful.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Friendly front desk staff. Mostly everything. Old hotel with little in regards to updates. Noisy, the section I was in has sliding doors out to inside garden (if you could call it that), neighbor was constantly using it. While not the hotels fault creates tons of noise. Bathroom fixtures old and worn. People smoking even though non smoking area.

Perfect location, staff was friendly, pool and hot tub were great!

Location. Wireless didn't work in the rooms, AC didn't work. The hotel has recently been remodeled but still looks old and tired, Other guest complained of AC and heating problems while location is good star rating and price were too high.

Hotel seemed to be very old but has been renovated. Didn't feel safe coming in at night from parking lot to room.

Location was good. Quality of the room / facility was poor. Very poor.

holiday inn denver west (golden co,). it is very cost effective for travel in denver area. it is the older holiday inn holidome style but very well kept up. access to denver downtowne was very easy and shopping was next door. didn't have the breakfast included like other inn's do today but there are other eateries in walking distance.

Night manager was very courteous when someone had to bring us replacement room cards. Overall, stay was very pleasant.

The Holiday Inn Denver West was comfortable, clean and fun. We really enjoyed the dinning at the hotel. We just had breakfast there and it was great. The pool and hot tub was great fun for our girls and they enjoyed the games there as well.

The location. Requires extensive maintenance and cleaning. Hotel maintenance is poor. There was always a shortage of clean bath towels.

The Holiday Inn DENVER-W is great for anyone going to the Thunder Valley Motocross National. It's about four miles from the track, and with the Colorado Mills Mall across the street, there are a whole host of dining options close by. Occasionally I have problems hooking up to the free hotel wireless, but in this case it they had a better-than-average signal. I'll be looking to stay there again next year.

Location. The room wasn't clean and they didn't put new stuff in the bathrooms. If I would have just walked it and got a room it would have been cheaper by $20 per night. The rooms weren't very clean and they had a used bottle for free mouth wash still in the room. On the other hand it is real close to the Colorado Mills mall which made it nice for shopping but that's all I can say that is good about this hotel.

The staff at this facility was very friendly, very helpful and went out of their way to assist in any way they could. When we arrived, we had a maintenance problem -called the front desk and they had someone there within minutes. He corrected the problem and was gone in 10 minutes! All in all, a great experience and very close to the venue we had traveled to, with easy on/off the interstate.

Some of the nicest staff I've met. The location was lame. If you're staying in Colorado, you want be in the mountains or in Denver. It was pretty much what you would expect from a holiday inn in a suburb.

The Holiday Inn Denver-west was conveniently located across the street from Colorado Mills (Wohoo, shopping!) and was next to several restaurants, coffee shops, stores, etc. The room was kept in good order by the staff and I had to move my room from upstairs to downstairs and one of the staff members was very helpful in helping me transition from my room upstairs to downstairs.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
The indoor facilities (pool, ping pong table, Jacuzzi) were nice. The AC. Had it on 69 all night, and it didn't get cold. Good hotel to stay at for a night or two. It's all about the AC, cleanliness and not smelling like cigarettes for me. Staff was great. Easy access to my room from the side entrance.
