MY fiancee and I just spent the weekend at the Batavia Holiday Inn. We have stayed there before and loved it. This time was so much better. First the rooms were improved., with new mattresses which were sooo comfortable and the rooms now have refridgerators and microwaves. We went to the Easter Brunch on Sunday the food was really good the room was decorated beautifully and the service was GREAT. Everything was very clean and shiney and the entrance way to the hotel has been newly tiled beautiful!!! ps the showers were so great i loved them

I stayed here for a wedding. I arrived at 2 pm and the room was not available till 4pm. Very frustrating!!! The rooms and hallways are old and dingy.

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. I like the fact that we were given adjacent rooms for both families so the kids were able to enjoy each other company all night. The location was great for shopping and very close to Darien Lake.

Location, the pool, sauna, gym, the gaming roomI stayed with teenage girls. There were younger kids running through the halls until late at night knocking on doors etc. the parents should have been watching them. I' ll stay there again andI plan to in the near future.

I was on a long vacation stretch going through upstate NY and we stopped here for 2 days to see a few things, and go to the racetrack. I was just not very impressed with the customer service at this hotel. It is a very run down hotel, and I'm surprised that they still are one with the changes the hotel chain is making. I don't travel often, but I always stay with them when I do and it just felt like a dated hotel. The room decor was horrible. We were in a room right by the desk, it was HUGE..very huge, but there was not enough furniture or anything to go along with it. A tiny computer desk, and a tiny cabinet for the tv and a few shelves. The staff at the front desk was not very friendly, and seemed to be put off with a lot of questions. The restaurant staff however was very nice, and breakfast was really good. Since I don't travel often, and planned this vacation for a long time, I expect good customer service. The hotel itself can only go so far, but the people make the difference. I didn't feel that here.

Hotel staff was very nice close to Darein Lake theme park.

Staff ordered and printed six flag tickets for us when we could not find a store. The outside just needs some work (appearance). Don't be fooled by the looks of the outside. The inside was very nice, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I like how big the room was. I didn't like how dark the overall hotel. If it was a little brighter that would've been nice. The hotel was fairly cheap and a nice place to stay. The room was also much bigger then I first anticipated. It was very clean which makes a big difference to me as a traveler. However I did think the room was just a little dark and dreary for my tastes, but it certainly wasn't bad. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. As was the lounge staff and the restaurant staff. Overall it was a good experience. I would most likely recommend the hotel.

"We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the property and the size of our room. Our stay was a comfortable and quiet, and our dog enjoyed it as well. Price, location and friendliness of staff make this hotel a nice place to stay."

2 Swimming pools, convenient location. The exterior was run down, unclean parking lots, too dim lit halls. The hotel restaurant was excellent. The parking lots were unclean and the halls were very dimly lit and uncomfortable. The two pools were nice and clean and the staff was friendly. Nice hotel but the exterior is looking a bit worn also. Nice rooms.

Location, clean. Hotel is falling apart not being keep up. Good stay but poor on the building.

The suites here are very roomy for the money. We had 5 people and we all slept comfortable. The best was the office staff. At check in the woman at the time, gave us the best rate possible (with the coupon we had) and alerted the morning staff if we stayed another night to give the same rate. We did and everything was taken care of. That's what I call team work! Checking in a hotel should'nt be like buying a car...shopping all over each next for the best rate and clean rooms. Just do what she did give the best rate and smile and clean rooms. Thanks to the Holiday Inn staff and if we are every back in the area we will be staying there!!

Easy access. Roof was leaking and water came trough the sealing in the room. Over all not a bad place to stay. The place needs a bit of work looks a bit tired and the roof has to be fixed. Staff is very friendly.
