Great hotel, was looking forward to getting into a hot tub that weekend. Unfortunately it was down for repairs.

It looked very classy. It was very nice and clean and the front desk staff were very friendly in spite of a wedding being held it was very quiet and peaceful at night.

This hotel has been renovated since my last stay and what a difference! Very nice, updated and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly, food and service was good. Will recommend and stay again.

This was not my first time to stay here. This hotel is suppose to be the classiest act in town. Having had prvious experience with this hotel, I was excited to find it still offered on the travel website. I will look at one of the other hotels in the area next time. My initial room was filthy, from the mascara on the sheets to the bathroom. This room did not look like it had been cleaned or linens changed in some time. Front desk questioned my need to talk with a manager personally about this room. After changing rooms. Thing improved some. There was still a layer of dusk everywhere. The linens on the bed were clean, well worn and full of tiny holes. The spead looked and felt dirty, took it off the bed immediately. The day before leaving, had an inexpensive item taken from my room. Management replaced the item, but defended his staff. Cleaning staff was the only others in my room that day. I was very disappointed in my stay. It would be lovely to see this hotel improve back to its once granduer status.

Very comfortable! Clean. Nice view. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice decor. I would definitely stay here again.

We recently stayed here and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the room was. VERY clean, nice decor, super comfy bed & pillows, good choice of pay movies, great pool & workout equiptment! Nice Sat nite prime rib buffet-waitstaff was okay......could use improvement, but food and atmosphere were quite nice

The staff was very polite and kind, The room had a nice view of the pond. No microwave. I loved the location on the 6th floor. Great air conditionind room with amenities.

Good location. Unfortunately, counter staff/mgt. was VERY slow in checking people in and out... not good for business people in a hurry. They gave me the room right next to the elevator. I asked for a change, but with so many rooms open midweek, I can't believe I had to! No water pressure in shower...! A fluxuating trickle that made it difficult to wash off soap. Otherwise, the hotel is clean and serviceable. Do try to get a room that doesn't overlook the noisy bar or street. Restaurant has better than average breakfast.

Friendly front desk staff. Horrible sleeping experience due to loud music. Hotel nice to look at, but the primary reason for being there was not well served. Loud bass drum and music starting pounding away at 10:30 pm and lasted till 1:00 am. Was already in bed and unpacked with an early business meeting, so their offer to move me was equally inconvenient. They should not entice business travelers if they really want to be in the club business.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the CL Holiday Inn several times. It is always at great place to stay. I stayed at another hotel in town since H-Inn was booked and was not nearly as happy. Love the pools and the great little lounge. Food is tasty. and staff friendly.

Clean, friendly, and very roomy. Nothing. I was greeted quickly and pleasantly. I enjoyed by stay and look forward to visiting again.

The decor & cleanliness exceeded my expectations! I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our room. There wasn't even a stray hair on the bathroom floor. (Amazing!) The beds were neat and comfy and the public areas were in order as well. I was even happy with the view from our room. Our room faced south, so the view was of an open field. Nice.

Absolutely Incredible staff! Everyone at the hotel wants to ensure a quality experience. This is a newly re-furbished hotel so is well appointed, clean, and attractive. The location is very convenient and the grounds are well kept with good lighting. However, it is the Staff who make this hotel so special. Everyone is friendly, efficient, professional and dedicated to customer satisfaction.

The front desk attendent was excellent. No Jacuzzi. Generally, very nice but over priced do to lack of Jacuzzi/hot tub. I will not stay there again.

The kids like the large swimming pool. The pillows are uncomfortable and the bed is on the hard side. We stay at this hotel each time we visit relatives in the area. The kids like the big pool so that is important to us. I don't like the pillows and bed. They don't have a free continental breakfast which I usually prefer. The sleeper sofa mattress is usually poor.

I liked the glass elevators. The ice machine was broken. The pool deck heater was broken. There was water leaking from the 5th floor ceiling all the way to the lobby. This hotel is not very classy. There were a lot of things that needed repair. Although the pool was warm, the pool area was very cold. The restaurant floor looked dirty around the edges. That showed me that this hotel doesnot pay attention to detail.

Elegant, but not stuffy, know what I mean? Th ice machine was not on our floor. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. It was like a quiet resort, a mid the commercial area. The close proximity of various stores made it also convenient.

Very warm and attractive. There was no hot tub. There was plenty of parking and the check-in was quick. The entrance outside and inside was very open, warm, and attractive. The room was clean and accommodating. We visited the gift shop and the woman at the counter was extremely friendly. We did not utilize the bar or restaurant, but they looked superb. The pool area was nice and the exercise equipment looked like new. Overall I was impressed by the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake and would stay there again.

Nice rooms. Restaurant staff was not well trained. Waiters and bartenders were not professional. Nice rooms, hot water runs out during peak times, skip the restaurant and bar.
